Sony INZONE G500 Fnatic Edition Gaming Mouse Debuts With 8KHz Wireless Polling

Sony has launched the INZONE G500 Fnatic Edition in China, bringing a lightweight esports mouse with wireless 8KHz polling and a listed weight of 48.4 grams. The model went on sale on April 15 with a price of 1,299 yuan in china.

The mouse is built around a lightweight shell that uses a nylon frame combined with micro-scale hollow glass bead material. At just under 50 grams, it falls into the ultra-light category used in competitive gaming setups.

Sony is using a custom 3950IZ sensor here. Polling support goes up to 8,000Hz over wireless, while wired mode runs at 1,000Hz. This places it among the few wireless models offering higher polling rates without switching to a wired connection, a segment also targeted by the Razer Viper V4 Pro.

Battery life is rated at up to 90 hours under standard use. Higher polling settings are expected to reduce that figure during active gameplay.

The Fnatic version comes in an orange finish with team branding. Sony notes that this is not just a themed variant, but the same model used by esports teams in competitive environments.

Alongside the mouse, Sony has also introduced Fnatic-branded mousepads under the F900 and D700 series. These were announced at the same time but are not yet available for purchase.

The G500 expands Sony’s INZONE lineup into the lightweight esports mouse segment, adding a model focused on speed, low weight, and high polling support alongside recent releases like the Pulsar ZywOo Gen 2 8K wireless gaming mouse.
