ASUS TUF Gaming A14 (2026) Hits UK at £1,649 With Ryzen AI Max, 165Hz Screen

ASUS has launched the TUF Gaming A14 (2026) FA401EA in the UK, bringing a 14-inch gaming laptop with AMD Strix Halo hardware, Radeon 8060S graphics, 32GB of memory, and a £1,649.99 price tag.

The ASUS UK store offers the processor as Ryzen AI Max+ 392. It carries 12 cores, 24 threads, boost speeds up to 5.0GHz, and an XDNA NPU rated for up to 50 TOPS. Earlier reports mentioned Ryzen AI Max+ 388, while the current UK product page names the 392 model.

Graphics come from the Radeon 8060S, one of AMD’s fastest integrated graphics options for laptops, reflecting the latest push toward high-performance iGPU gaming systems. It gives the A14 far stronger gaming performance than standard integrated solutions and removes the need for a separate entry-level GPU in many titles.

The laptop carries a 14-inch IPS-level display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, anti-glare finish, 165Hz refresh rate, and full sRGB coverage, a setup aimed at users who want smooth visuals in a compact chassis. That combination should appeal to gamers who also want a sharper panel for daily work and media.

Memory is fixed at 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 in quad-channel form. Storage includes a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, and the chassis has two M.2 PCIe slots for SSD upgrades, offering flexibility for users who need expandable gaming storage.

ASUS rates the chip at up to 85W in Turbo mode. Even with that power target, the A14 weighs only 1.48 kg (3.26 lbs) and measures 16.9 mm to 19.9 mm thick. A 73Wh battery and 200W charger are included, balancing mobility and gaming power for users who travel often.

Ports include HDMI 2.1 FRL, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, one USB4 Type-C with power delivery and DisplayPort, a microSD UHS-II reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 or 5.3 depending on hardware batch.

Other extras include a 1080p IR webcam with Windows Hello, Dolby Atmos speakers, noise-canceling microphones, a Copilot key, and Microsoft Pluton security.

At £1,649.99, the TUF Gaming A14 lands near many RTX 4060 laptops, but with a smaller 14-inch frame and one of the strongest integrated Radeon graphics chips currently sold in a gaming notebook.
