Deal: Acer Swift X 14 OLED With RTX 4060 Stands Out in Thin Gaming Laptop Segment

RTX 4060 laptops under $1,000 have become rare in 2026, and the Acer Swift X 14 OLED now stands out as one of the few options combining a modern Intel Core Ultra processor, dedicated graphics, and an OLED display in a thin design.

The laptop runs on Intel’s Core Ultra 7 155H, a 16-core chip built for both everyday work and heavier tasks like editing or multitasking. It is paired with NVIDIA’s RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. IIn testing, this GPU sits only around 14% behind the newer RTX 5060 while offering the same VRAM capacity, a gap that reflects early positioning of next-gen mobile GPUs. That keeps it strong for high settings at 1080p and capable at 1440p in many titles.

Memory is fixed at 16GB LPDDR5X-6400, which is typical for thin-and-light laptops in this class. Storage includes a 1TB NVMe SSD, and the drive can be replaced if more capacity is needed. A 76Wh battery provides enough capacity for mixed daily use depending on brightness and workload.

The display is one of the main highlights. It features a 14.5-inch OLED panel with a 2880 × 1800 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Brightness reaches just under 400 nits in standard use and up to 600 nits in HDR. The panel covers the full DCI-P3 color space and delivers deep blacks with near-infinite contrast, which works well for both media and creative work.

Port selection is strong for a thin design. The laptop includes two USB Type-A ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI output, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, giving a full set of connections without relying on adapters.

Despite carrying dedicated graphics, the Swift X 14 weighs around 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg). That keeps it easy to carry while still offering more performance than most laptops in this size class.

Compared to other thin laptops in this segment, many models drop to integrated graphics or entry-level GPUs such as the RTX 4050, especially in budget-focused configurations like laptop under $1000. Finding an RTX 4060 paired with a high-resolution OLED panel and a Core Ultra processor in a lightweight chassis is still uncommon, especially in a market where rising component costs have reduced aggressive configurations.

Deals like this have become less frequent this year, making this configuration stand out more than typical offerings.
