The newly released NucBox M3 Pro is a compact desktop featuring Intel Core i5-13500H, dual 2.5GbE networking, and support for up to three 4K displays. The mini PC focuses on strong multitasking performance, flexible storage expansion, and modern connectivity while staying far smaller than a traditional desktop tower.
The NucBox M3 Pro runs on Intel’s 13th Gen Core i5-13500H processor, a Raptor Lake-H chip built on Intel 7 process technology. The processor includes 12 cores and 16 threads with boost clocks reaching up to 4.7 GHz. GMKtec configures the mini PC with multiple performance profiles, including 28W silent mode, 35W balanced mode, and up to 40W sustained power with 45W peak output.
To maintaining the thermal, a copper heat pipe and single-fan airflow layout designed for compact desktop workloads. GMKtec also adds side ventilation openings and internal airflow channels to improve heat dissipation inside the small enclosure.
Graphics are powered by Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics with 80 execution units and clock speeds up to 1.45 GHz. The integrated GPU supports media acceleration, video editing, hardware decoding, emulation, and casual esports gaming workloads, which are becoming increasingly common across newer Intel mini PCs such as the ASUS NUC 16 Pro.
It supports up to 64GB DDR4-3200 memory through dual SO-DIMM slots in a dual-channel configuration. GMKtec retains DDR4 instead of moving to DDR5, which helps lower overall platform pricing while still delivering sufficient bandwidth for office workloads, virtualization, media streaming, multitasking, and home server use.
The NucBox M3 Pro includes dual M.2 slots, including one M.2 2280 NVMe slot and one M.2 2242 slot supporting both SATA and PCIe SSDs. GMKtec lists support for up to 16TB total internal storage depending on drive configuration. The primary M.2 slot also supports PCIe 4.0 ×4 SSDs for faster storage expansion.
The chassis measures 128.5 × 127 × 51 mm and weighs around 480 g in barebone configuration. GMKtec builds the enclosure from CNC-machined metal with a sandblasted finish and tempered glass top panel carrying a laser-engraved company logo.
The mini PC supports up to three 4K displays simultaneously through dual HDMI 2.0 ports and a full-function USB Type-C port with DisplayPort output. GMKtec previously introduced Thunderbolt-focused compact desktops with the GMKtec Evo T2 mini PC. All video outputs support up to 4K resolution at 60Hz.
The front panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port with display output support, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The rear section adds two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, dual HDMI 2.0 outputs, two 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, DC power input, and a Kensington security lock slot. The USB-C connection supports data transfer and display output but does not support USB-C charging.

Networking is another major advantage of the NucBox M3 Pro, joining other compact desktops targeting homelab and AI workloads such as the GMKtec NucBox K17. Dual 2.5GbE LAN ports make the compact desktop suitable for lightweight NAS deployments, homelab environments, virtualization, network segmentation, soft-router setups, and compact office servers. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 reaching speeds up to 1201 Mbps alongside Bluetooth 5.2 support.
GMKtec also includes a compact 100W power adapter inside the box. The smaller footprint allows the mini PC to fit easily behind monitors, inside entertainment centers, or in office spaces where larger desktop towers take up too much room.
The GMKtec NucBox M3 Pro starts at $329.99 for the barebone version without memory or storage. The 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD configuration costs $479.99, while the 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD version reaches $679.99. GMKtec is also offering additional discounts through coupon code M3P15 on its official online store.
