Honor introduced the Notebook X14 2026 as the first Intel Wildcat Lake laptop available through retail channels with a Core 5 320 processor, 16GB LPDDR5X-7467 memory, and pricing starting around $590 after subsidies in China. The new notebook enters the growing low-cost premium laptop category with a thin chassis, larger battery, and newer Intel architecture aimed at mainstream productivity users looking for a lighter alternative to bulkier entry-level Windows laptops.
The Notebook X14 2026 runs on Intel’s Core 5 320 processor from the Wildcat Lake family. The chip carries six CPU cores and six threads alongside Intel Graphics clocked up to 2.5 GHz. Honor rates the laptop for up to 35W performance in high-power mode, while the quieter Smart Mode operates closer to 28W for lower fan noise during lighter workloads.
Honor ships the notebook with 16GB LPDDR5X-7467 memory and a 512GB SSD as standard. Intel’s platform itself supports configurations with up to 64GB memory, although Honor currently focuses on a single mainstream configuration for the Chinese market.
The 14-inch display features a 1920 × 1200 resolution with a taller 16:10 aspect ratio and a 92% screen-to-body ratio. The LCD panel reaches 300 nits brightness with a standard 60Hz refresh rate alongside TÜV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free certifications.
The chassis measures 16.9 mm thick while weight lands around 3.06 lbs (1.39 kg). Honor follows a minimalist ultrabook-style design language with a cleaner silver finish and relatively slim display bezels around the panel.
Connectivity remains fairly generous for a notebook in this category. The laptop carries two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a full-function USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connection with charging and DisplayPort 1.4 output support, HDMI output, and a 3.5 mm headset jack.

Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6E through Intel’s AX211 wireless card alongside Bluetooth 5.1 support. Honor integrated NFC directly into the touchpad for fast pairing features between supported Honor devices.
Battery capacity is 60Wh, larger than many competing budget-focused ultrabooks. Honor claims up to 13.5 hours of office-oriented battery life under internal testing conditions. The bundled 65W USB-C charger can reportedly recharge the battery to roughly 49% within 30 minutes.
Honor continues expanding its cross-device ecosystem features through the Notebook X14 2026. The laptop ships with HONOR Share, Magic-Link, screen sharing, and multi-device collaboration tools alongside AI-assisted functions inside the company’s YOYO software suite covering translation, document tools, meeting assistance, and coding-related features.
Audio hardware features dual speakers with surround sound support alongside dual microphones and a 720p webcam for video calls. The keyboard keeps a full-size layout, although backlighting is not part of the standard configuration.
The Notebook X14 2026 is currently available in China starting at 4,399 yuan before regional subsidies. Honor is expected to introduce the notebook globally later under the MagicBook X14 2026 branding, though international pricing and release timing have not been confirmed yet.
