Lenovo introduced the 2026 Xiaoxin Air 14 with Intel Core Ultra 5 Lunar Lake processors, a 14-inch 2.8K 120Hz display reaching 1100 nits, a 65Wh battery, and a lightweight 1.06 kg aluminum chassis starting at 5,499 yuan in China. The refreshed ultrabook keeps a slim 11.9 mm profile while moving to Intel’s newer Lunar Lake platform aimed at thinner and quieter laptops with longer battery life.
The new Xiaoxin Air 14 arrives in two main versions. Buyers can choose between Intel Core Ultra 5 226V and Core Ultra 5 228V processors paired with integrated Intel graphics, part of Intel’s expanding Core Ultra lineup covered in Intel Core Ultra 200S Plus desktop CPUs. Lenovo currently offers a 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD model at 5,499 yuan, while the higher-end configuration with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage reaches 6,999 yuan.
Lenovo comes with the notebook with a 14-inch 2.8K panel carrying a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 1100 nits, exceeding brightness levels listed for the Dell Inspiron 15 (2026). That brightness figure sits far above what most mainstream thin-and-light Windows notebooks currently offer in this price category.
The chassis follows a minimalist all-aluminum design with a Deep Space color finish and slim bezels around the display. Lenovo rates the notebook at just 2.34 lbs (1.06 kg), placing it among the lightest 14-inch Lunar Lake laptops currently announced.
Battery capacity is 65Wh, and it will give you up to 21 hours of battery life under local testing conditions, placing it among long-runtime systems featured in Best Windows 11 laptops. The company offers the notebook with USB-C charging support through its official product listings.
Lenovo redesigned the keyboard this generation with what the company calls “smiley keycaps,” featuring rounded key shapes and multiple adjustable keyboard backlight modes.

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition and supports several Lenovo retail services in China, including student discounts, government subsidy programs, trade-in support, accidental damage coverage, and 12-month interest-free installment options.
Reservations are already open through Lenovo’s official Chinese retail platform. Official sales begin on June 10 at 7:30 AM local time.
Lenovo has not confirmed international availability yet. Earlier Xiaoxin Air models later reached global markets under Lenovo’s IdeaPad Slim branding with different regional configurations.
