AMD has started shipping the Ryzen 7 5800X3D AM4 10th Anniversary Edition through Indian retailers with pricing around $310 and updated anniversary packaging. Early listings from 99Deals India show the processor arriving in limited quantities as AMD marks ten years of the AM4 platform.
The anniversary version keeps the original Ryzen 7 5800X3D specifications with eight Zen 3 cores, sixteen threads, 96MB of L3 cache, and boost clocks reaching up to 4.5 GHz. AMD has not announced architectural changes for the refreshed edition, meaning gaming performance should remain identical to the original 2022 model.
The processor keeps AMD’s 3D V-Cache layout together with a 105W TDP, continuing the same design that helped the 5800X3D become one of the defining gaming CPUs of the Zen 3 generation. Even several years after its original debut, the chip still performs competitively in modern gaming workloads paired with newer graphics cards.
Retail box artwork now carries “AM4 10th Anniversary Edition” branding together with the April 16, 2026 anniversary date celebrating a decade of AMD’s AM4 socket platform. AMD ships the processor in a standard boxed retail package rather than a collector-focused limited presentation box.
The refreshed model arrives as original Ryzen 7 5800X3D inventory continues shrinking across multiple regions. Several major retailers either sold out remaining stock or shifted availability toward third-party marketplace sellers over the past year.
At around $310, the anniversary edition costs much less than the chip’s original $449 price back in 2022. That lower price makes it an attractive option for AM4 gamers looking for better gaming performance without upgrading to a new motherboard or switching away from DDR4 memory.
AM4 continues standing out as one of the longest-supported desktop platforms in the consumer PC market. Users running older Ryzen 2000, Ryzen 3000, or early Ryzen 5000 processors can still upgrade directly to the 5800X3D on many existing motherboards after BIOS updates.
The pricing gap between AM4 and newer AM5 hardware still remains noticeable in several regions as DDR5 memory and newer motherboards continue costing more than mature AM4 platforms. That pricing difference keeps chips like the 5800X3D relevant for gamers building around existing DDR4 hardware.
The anniversary edition arrives shortly after reports suggested AMD may continue expanding its X3D gaming lineup with additional processor models across different platform segments. AMD has not confirmed wider global availability for the refreshed 5800X3D yet, though retailer activity suggests additional regions could receive stock later.
