Lenovo Legion Y7MG pairs a 59g magnesium-alloy body with PixArt’s PAW3950 optical sensor and up to 8,000Hz polling. The gaming mouse is now available in China for ¥499 in Cloud Silver Gray and Storm Gray.
The lightweight body comes from an aluminum-magnesium alloy top shell and button cover, while the bottom is made from ABS. Lenovo lists the total weight at about 59 grams, keeping the mouse light without switching to an open honeycomb shell.
PixArt’s PAW3950 optical sensor sits at the center of the hardware. It offers DPI settings from 50 to 42,000, tracking speeds up to 750 IPS, acceleration up to 50G, and adjustable lift-off distance for different gaming surfaces.
USB-C wired mode and 2.4GHz wireless mode both run at an 8,000Hz polling rate. Lenovo advertises response times as low as 1ms and recommends a recent high-end PC for stable performance at the highest polling setting.
Three connection options are available. A switch on the bottom lets users move between USB-C, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth without changing the rest of the setup.
The left and right buttons are fitted with Kailh optical switches rated for around 100 million clicks. Lenovo adds a TTC dustproof gold scroll wheel encoder together with an aluminum-alloy scroll wheel for smoother scrolling and longer service life.
RGB lighting shines through the cutout pattern across the upper shell instead of staying hidden underneath. The mouse works with Lenovo Aurora RGB lighting, allowing matching effects across compatible Legion keyboards and other supported devices.
A 500mAh battery sits inside the mouse for wireless operation. Charging is done through USB-C, and Lenovo ships the mouse with a cable, replacement mouse feet, grip accessories, and a protective film over the skates.

The Y7MG measures 119.2 × 62.1 × 38.2 mm. A dedicated DPI button and the tri-mode selector are placed on the underside for quick access, while the PTFE feet cover a large part of the base to keep movement smooth across different mouse pads.
Lenovo is selling the Legion Y7MG through its online store in China. Cloud Silver Gray and Storm Gray carry the same hardware and both are priced at ¥499.
