In Computex 2026 GIGABYTE has introduce new additions to its AI TOP platform, a lineup of systems built for developers, researchers, and businesses that want to run AI workloads on local hardware instead of depending entirely on cloud services.
The new AI TOP 100 B850 workstation, which joins the AI TOP ATOM, AI TOP 100 Z890, and AI TOP 500 TRX50, is among the company’s most recent products. Personal AI initiatives, edge computing, larger research, and enterprise deployments are all included in the program.
GIGABYTE is developing AI TOP as a comprehensive platform that integrates hardware, software, and pre-validated system configurations rather than providing a single AI workstation. Giving users more control over their data while facilitating local AI development is the aim.
The newest addition is AI TOP 100 B850. Built around AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X processor, the system can be configured with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 or an AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics card. GIGABYTE says the machine is designed for AI training, inference, and model development workloads.
The workstation supports up to 128GB of DDR5-5600 memory and comes with a server-grade 1600W 80 Plus Platinum power supply. The hardware is built to handle long-running AI workloads while maintaining stable performance.
Processing locally is a major selling point. By running AI workloads on local hardware, businesses may keep sensitive data in-house rather of sending it to cloud services. For companies that handle proprietary or regulated datasets, this can be very important.
The AI TOP family is split into several product categories. AI TOP ATOM is aimed at personal and edge AI computing, while the AI TOP 100 Z890 and AI TOP 100 B850 target developers and small teams. The AI TOP 500 TRX50 sits at the top of the range and is intended for enterprise deployments and large-scale AI projects.
GIGABYTE is also expanding the hardware ecosystem around the AI TOP platform. The company has added a range of components built for demanding AI workloads, including motherboards, graphics cards, SSDs, and power supplies. One of the latest additions is the AORUS P1600W 80 Plus Titanium Modular PCIe 5.1 power supply.
GIGABYTE states that all AI TOP systems go through validation testing for continuous 24/7 operation. The goal is to provide the reliability needed for users running long AI training sessions and other demanding workloads that can keep systems under load for extended periods.
Software support is also a major part of the AI TOP platform. GIGABYTE notes that it supports more than 100 AI frameworks and development tools, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenClaw. This broad compatibility can make it easier for developers to set up their systems and start working with AI projects.

Interest in local AI systems has been growing as more organizations explore alternatives to cloud-based development. While cloud services are still widely used, many businesses are looking for better control over costs, data privacy, and their overall infrastructure.
