MSI MAG Infinite Z Gets Ryzen 9000 and RTX 5070 Ti Hardware in a Compact 25L Chassis

MSI’s MAG Infinite Z pairs AMD Ryzen 9000 processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series graphics inside a 25-liter desktop chassis, offering current-generation gaming hardware in a footprint noticeably smaller than many traditional gaming towers.

The desktop is available with several processor options, ranging from Ryzen 5 models to the Ryzen 7 9700X. Graphics configurations extend up to NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, placing the machine in the performance segment aimed at modern AAA gaming, high-refresh-rate esports titles, streaming, and content creation.

The Ryzen 7 9700X is based on AMD’s Zen 5 architecture, featuring eight cores, sixteen threads, and boost clocks of up to 5.5GHz. Paired with GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics, the desktop delivers high-end gaming and content creation performance in a compact form factor, avoiding the larger footprint typically seen with enthusiast-grade systems.

The 25-liter enclosure is a defining part of the design. Many gaming desktops with comparable hardware occupy significantly more desk space, while the MAG Infinite Z maintains a relatively compact footprint without sacrificing access to internal components.

MSI has retained upgrade flexibility throughout the chassis. Two DDR5 memory slots support capacities of up to 64GB, while storage expansion is available through dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD slots, two 2.5-inch drive bays, and a dedicated 3.5-inch bay.

Access to the interior has been simplified through a tool-free side panel secured with thumbscrews. MSI has further streamlined upgrades with EZ M.2 Clip and EZ PCIe Clip II retention mechanisms, reducing the effort required when installing storage devices or replacing graphics hardware.

Cooling is provided through MSI’s Silent Storm thermal design, which adjusts fan operation according to workload and temperature conditions. The approach is intended to maintain consistent operating temperatures during extended gaming sessions while avoiding unnecessary fan noise during lighter workloads.

A tempered glass side panel provides a view of the internal hardware, while Mystic Light RGB illumination allows users to customize lighting effects. MSI’s Ambient Link functionality can synchronize lighting behavior with supported games and on-screen content.

Connectivity covers both wired and wireless networking requirements. The desktop features 2.5GbE Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 support. Front-panel connections consist of USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports alongside dedicated audio jacks, while the rear panel provides additional USB connectivity, HDMI output, audio connections, and external Wi-Fi antenna ports.

MSI pairs the hardware with an AMD B840 motherboard platform and offers configurations with power supplies reaching up to 850W, depending on the selected components.

Rather than pursuing an oversized chassis, the MAG Infinite Z focuses on fitting Ryzen 9000 processors, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics, DDR5 memory support, modern connectivity, and straightforward upgrade access into a desktop that occupies less space than many competing gaming towers.
