Acer Nitro XV273U F5 Monitor Listed on Amazon at $699 With 1,000Hz DFR Mode

Acer’s Nitro XV273U F5 is now listed on Amazon with a $699.99 price tag ahead of its North American retail availability. The product page confirms a 27-inch Fast IPS display with two operating modes: 2560 × 1440 at 540Hz and 1280 × 720 at 1,000Hz through Acer’s Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR) feature. The listing is currently marked as temporarily out of stock, indicating that shipments have not started yet.

The Amazon listing arrives ahead of Acer’s planned Q4 2026 availability in North America. While customers cannot place an order yet, the page confirms pricing, accessories, warranty information, and the monitor’s core specifications before retail sales begin.

The monitor runs at its native WQHD (2560 × 1440) resolution with a 540Hz refresh rate. Acer’s DFR feature provides a second operating mode that lowers the resolution to 1280 × 720 while increasing the refresh rate to 1,000Hz. This trade-off reduces the graphics workload, making it easier for high-end gaming PCs to generate the frame rates needed for extremely high refresh-rate gameplay.

This option is particularly relevant for competitive titles such as Counter-Strike 2, VALORANT, Overwatch 2, and Rainbow Six Siege, where many players reduce graphics settings and resolution to achieve the highest possible frame rates and lower input latency.

Acer rates the panel at up to 0.5ms GtG response time with overdrive enabled. The display supports VRB Pro, a motion blur reduction feature that improves image clarity during fast movement by reducing perceived blur.

Beyond gaming, the monitor offers specifications that can benefit creative work and media consumption. The panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supports 1.07 billion colors through 8-bit + FRC, carries a Delta E below 2 rating for color accuracy, and is certified for VESA DisplayHDR 600. Acer lists 400 nits of typical brightness and up to 600 nits in HDR content.

Adaptive refresh support is available for both AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium and is certified as NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, helping reduce screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay.

Connectivity consists of two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and a 3.5mm audio output. Acer pairs the display with a stand that supports 150mm height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and 90-degree pivot adjustments. Built-in 2W stereo speakers and 100 × 100mm VESA mounting are available for users who prefer monitor arms or wall installation.
