Colorful’s ECO HM770-K V20 is a new Mobile-on-Desktop (MoDT) motherboard with Intel’s Core i9-13900HX already mounted on the board. It pairs a notebook processor with desktop memory, PCIe expansion, and NVMe storage in a compact 240 × 190 mm design. The board is intended for users who want a smaller desktop without giving up support for standard PC components.
The built-in Core i9-13900HX belongs to Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake HX family. It comes with 24 cores, including eight Performance cores and sixteen Efficient cores, along with 32 threads. Since the processor is already installed, builders only need to add memory, storage, a power supply, and other desktop hardware to complete the PC.
Although Colorful lists the board as Micro-ATX, its 240 × 190 mm size is much smaller than a standard Micro-ATX motherboard. The compact layout leaves more room inside smaller PC cases while keeping expansion options that are often missing from Mini-ITX boards.
The motherboard comes with two DDR4 UDIMM slots instead of DDR5. Users upgrading from an older desktop can keep their existing DDR4 memory, making the transition to a new build easier without replacing every component.
A PCIe 5.0 x16 slot supports current desktop graphics cards from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA. This gives builders the freedom to pair the integrated Core i9-13900HX with anything from an entry-level GPU to a high-end graphics card.

Storage support consists of two PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs. Separate drives can be installed for Windows, applications, games, or work files without giving up high-speed PCIe Gen4 performance.
Networking comes through 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E. Wired and wireless connections are available straight out of the box, so there is no need to install a separate network card.
The motherboard provides another PCIe Gen4 x1 slot for expansion cards. Rear connectivity includes four USB-A 5Gbps ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, and one DisplayPort 1.2 output. Internal headers allow two more USB-A 5Gbps ports on the front of the PC case.
MoDT motherboards combine notebook processors with desktop components such as graphics cards, standard memory modules, and NVMe storage. This approach makes it possible to build compact PCs without moving to a fully proprietary platform.
Colorful has not shared pricing or a release schedule for the ECO HM770-K V20. More details are expected after the motherboard reaches retail channels.
