ASUS ROG GR70 is now available after its CES 2026 debut. The mini PC comes with AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX, Ryzen 9 9955HX, or Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processors, paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs. Prices begin at $3,135.19, while the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D model is listed at $3,196.33 on Amazon.
The GR70 moves away from Intel hardware found in earlier ROG NUC models. The highest-end version features AMD’s Ryzen 9 9955HX3D with Zen 5 architecture, 3D V-Cache, and up to 32 threads. The processor is built for modern games, video editing, rendering, streaming, and everyday work.
The Ryzen 9 8940HX model comes with the GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. Both the Ryzen 9 9955HX and Ryzen 9 9955HX3D versions come with the GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. ASUS chose laptop graphics to keep the desktop smaller while supporting ray tracing and DLSS in current games.
The case stands vertically and takes up very little desk space. A lighted ROG logo on the side, ARGB lighting, and a removable stand give it a clean gaming look. The desktop measures about 11.1 × 7.4 × 2.2 inches and weighs around 6.1 lbs (2.8 kg).
Inside, ASUS installs its Triple-Fan QuietFlow cooling design. Three fans move air through the chassis to help the processor and graphics run at full speed during longer gaming sessions while keeping fan noise lower.
Memory and storage can be upgraded later. Two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots support up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory. Every listed model comes with 32GB of memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, leaving plenty of room for large game libraries from day one.
The GR70 has six USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB4 port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 2.1 connectors, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. ASUS states that the mini PC can connect to as many as five displays at the same time.
Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed, and ASUS provides a three-year warranty.
