ASUS is now selling the ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV in the United States for $699. The new creator monitor pairs a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel, marketed as a 27-inch display, with 4K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 96W USB-C charging. It is built for photographers, designers, video editors, and Mac users who want accurate colors without paying flagship prices.
Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel delivers a resolution of 3840 × 2160 with a 0.1ms GTG response time. Peak HDR brightness reaches 1,000 nits, and the display carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. Color coverage extends to 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, and BT.2020. Every monitor leaves the factory with Calman verification and Delta E below 1.5 for accurate color from the first day.
The 120Hz refresh rate is useful beyond gaming. Editors can preview high-frame-rate footage more smoothly, while animators and 3D artists get a clearer view of moving content. Uniform Brightness mode keeps luminance steady instead of changing as different windows open across the screen.

Mac users receive several exclusive additions. M Model-P3 matches the color profile of recent MacBook displays, making it easier to move projects between screens. DisplayWidget Center lets brightness be adjusted directly from the Mac keyboard, while ColorSync keeps color settings aligned across compatible ProArt monitors. Apple ProMotion works through Variable Refresh Rate on supported Macs.
The port selection covers most creative workspaces. There is a USB-C port with 96W Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 input, DisplayPort 1.4 output for daisy chaining, USB Type-A ports, a downstream USB Type-C port, a USB hub, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Auto KVM lets a single keyboard and mouse control two connected computers.

ASUS adds several tools to extend OLED panel life. OLED Care offers Pixel Shift, Screen Saver, Image Protection, Logo Detection, Taskbar Detection, a Proximity Sensor, and an Ambient Light Sensor. A graphene layer improves heat dissipation, while the anti-scratch surface is rated for up to 2.5 times better scratch resistance than the previous generation.
The redesigned stand takes up 33% less desk space than the previous ProArt model and is twice as thin. Height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments are available, and the display supports standard 100 × 100mm VESA mounting. Cable routing is built into the stand for a cleaner desk.
