A new affordable configuration of the Acer Nitro V 16 gaming laptop is now listed on Amazon for $1,199.99 USD (about 8,500 Yuan). Acer continues to expand its Nitro V 16 laptop lineup in the United States. Earlier this week, the brand opened pre-orders for two higher-end AI models with AMD chips starting at $1,899.99 USD (about 13,500 Yuan).
The new model swaps the AMD Ryzen processor for an Intel Core 5 210H processor, which has eight cores and boost clock speeds up to 4.8 GHz. Acer also pairs the hardware with Nvidia’s new entry-level laptop GPU from the GeForce RTX family. The GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card operates with up to 95W of maximum graphics power.

The laptop includes 8GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage. Gamers can view content on a 16-inch IPS screen that has a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and supports a 165Hz refresh rate. In addition to the display, the laptop has a 76Wh battery, a backlit keyboard, and a dual-fan cooling layout.

The cooling layout manages heat dissipation under heavy gaming workloads. While 8GB of memory is modest for modern gaming, users can upgrade the RAM and storage at a later date.
In addition to wireless support, the laptop has one USB-C port with 100W Power Delivery, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 2.1 connection, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and an audio jack. This port selection lets users connect external peripherals and displays without needing an external docking hub.
The affordable Nitro V 16 laptop configuration is currently listed as temporarily out of stock on Amazon. Interested buyers can also purchase the AMD Ryzen 5 alternative with an RTX 5060 graphics card for $1,299.99 USD (about 9,200 Yuan) before discounts.
