AOC has launched the 25G51F in China, a 24.5-inch Full HD gaming monitor with a 180Hz refresh rate that targets budget-focused esports buyers. With its combination of a high-refresh IPS panel and low asking price, the new model stands out in the entry-level gaming monitor segment.
The display features a 1920 × 1080 resolution with 178-degree viewing angles. For users upgrading from older 60Hz or 75Hz screens, the move to 180Hz brings smoother gameplay and faster on-screen motion than standard office panels. The 1080p resolution also makes high frame rates easier to achieve with entry-level and midrange graphics cards.
AOC lists a 0.5ms MPRT response time along with a 4ms GtG figure. Adaptive-Sync support is included, alongside Nvidia G-SYNC Compatible certification, a feature now common in modern gaming displays. The monitor also supports MBR-Sync, allowing motion blur reduction while variable refresh rate remains active.
Color coverage is rated at 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3, while factory calibration is listed at Delta E below 2, putting it ahead of many low-cost gaming monitors. HDR10 input support is also included, making the panel useful for both gaming and media use.
AOC has added several gaming tools, including dynamic crosshair overlays, sniper scope mode, frame counter, shadow enhancement, dark field control, and six-axis color adjustment.
Brightness is rated at 300 nits, while the typical contrast ratio is listed at 1500:1. Eye comfort features include Flicker-Free backlighting and Low Blue Light mode for longer gaming or work sessions.
Connectivity includes one DisplayPort 1.4 input, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The included stand supports tilt adjustment from -5° to 23°, while VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting is also supported.
AOC is also backing the monitor with a three-year warranty in China.
The AOC 25G51F is now on sale in China for 529 yuan (about $77), undercutting several recent high-refresh alternatives. For buyers who want a fast 1080p gaming monitor without overspending, it looks like one of the strongest value options currently available.
