ASUS announced that ProArt Display OLED PA27USD and OLED PA32USD will be available by May 2026 with 4K 240Hz QD-OLED panels, Dolby Vision support, and built-in 12G-SDI connectivity for professional creator workflows. The new lineup targets video editors, VFX artists, animators, broadcast studios, and creators working with real-time rendering and high-frame-rate production.
The series includes the 26.5-inch ProArt PA27USD and the larger 31.5-inch ProArt PA32USD. Both monitors feature 3840 × 2160 resolution, true 10-bit color, a 0.1ms response time, and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio. ASUS also lists peak HDR brightness up to 1000 nits in smaller highlight areas, placing the displays closer to premium OLED gaming monitors in raw panel performance while still focusing on studio-grade color accuracy.
The biggest change compared to earlier ProArt monitors is the 240Hz refresh rate. ASUS previously introduced high refresh OLED technology in the ROG Swift PG32UCDM3 gaming monitor. Most professional creator displays still remain at 60Hz or 120Hz because they primarily target photography and traditional color grading work. ASUS is moving in a different direction by focusing on creators working with motion-heavy workflows such as VFX, animation, virtual production, live compositing, and high-frame-rate editing. The higher refresh rate helps timeline scrubbing, animation playback, and motion previewing look much smoother during editing sessions.
ASUS says both displays cover 99% DCI-P3 along with full sRGB and Rec.709 gamuts. ASUS has been expanding its creator-focused lineup through products such as the ProArt P16 workstation laptop. Each monitor ships factory calibrated with Delta E below 1 for highly accurate colors out of the box. Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Hybrid Log-Gamma support are also included, allowing the monitors to fit multiple HDR mastering standards without relying on separate displays for different production formats.
ASUS is also integrating hardware calibration and self-calibration directly into both monitors. Creators can schedule automatic calibration sessions through the monitor menu, reducing dependence on external calibration tools during routine maintenance. The displays are also Calman Ready for studios already working inside professional calibration pipelines.
The PA27USD includes a single 12G-SDI input, while the larger PA32USD includes dual 12G-SDI ports for uncompressed 4K video feeds up to 60Hz. These connections are commonly found in broadcast studios, cinema cameras, live production hardware, and professional switching equipment rather than consumer displays.
ASUS also includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports with daisy-chain support, DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, USB hub functionality, and up to 96W USB-C power delivery. High-bandwidth display and storage connectivity continues to grow across next-generation Thunderbolt 5 devices. The monitors can function as central workstation displays for editing laptops, capture hardware, storage arrays, and production desks while helping reduce cable clutter.

Both monitors ship with fully adjustable stands supporting height, swivel, pivot, and tilt adjustment. ASUS also includes detachable shading hoods to reduce reflections during color-critical work. The PA27USD additionally receives a Panaro MAX Rugged Case Edition aimed at creators moving between studios and production locations.
OLED protection features are included through ASUS OLED Care, including pixel shifting, taskbar detection, automatic dimming, and proximity-based brightness adjustment to help reduce long-term image retention during extended editing sessions with static interface elements onscreen.
ASUS has priced the ProArt PA27USD at $2,199, while the PA27USD Panaro MAX Rugged Case Edition costs $2,599. The larger PA32USD is priced at $2,699. The higher pricing comes from professional-grade additions such as SDI connectivity, self-calibration hardware, and Thunderbolt workstation support rather than gaming-focused features alone. Availability starts in May 2026, though pricing may vary by region.
The new ProArt lineup highlights how creator monitors are changing. High refresh rates are no longer limited to gaming displays as more production work shifts toward real-time rendering, virtual sets, and motion-heavy content creation.
