Cherry Xtrfy is selling a new wireless gaming keyboard called the K63W Pro Compact that combines Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless technology with a high 8000Hz polling rate. The keyboard operates in its own broad frequency spectrum to prevent signal interference from nearby wireless devices. This connectivity approach helps maintain a stable and fast link even in crowded home or tournament environments.
The keyboard uses a new compact 70% layout that retains the function row while reducing the side borders to create more room for wide mouse movements. This layout optimization is highly useful for competitive players who prefer portable setups like those in our guide to the best gaming laptop under 1200. In addition, the bottom-right keys can switch between standard arrow keys and alternative functions like Control or Shift.

The UWB wireless technology registers keystrokes almost instantaneously to prevent input delay in competitive gaming. The keyboard supports a true 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes, reporting keystrokes to the computer eight times every millisecond. This level of responsiveness is ideal for players who want to optimize their inputs for major releases, which they can secure through the GTA 6 pre-orders guide.

For power, the keyboard includes a high-capacity 6000 mAh battery that provides up to 1,100 hours of runtime depending on the RGB lighting and polling rate settings. If the battery runs low, players can connect the keyboard using the included 1.8-meter (5.9-foot) braided USB-C cable to continue playing. The entire keyboard weighs 820 grams (1.8 lbs) and measures 307 x 135 x 30 mm (12.1 x 5.3 x 1.2 inches).
The keyboard has a gasket-mounted design that uses elastic buffers to reduce typing vibrations and dampen internal noise. Under the keycaps, the board uses lubricated CHERRY MX Low Profile 2.0 mechanical switches to provide a smooth travel distance. These switches are rated for a lifespan of over 100 million keystrokes to ensure long-term durability.
The Cherry Xtrfy K63W Pro Compact is currently available for purchase in Europe with a recommended retail price of £179.99 (around $230 USD). The manufacturer plans to release the keyboard in the United States this summer for $169.99 USD. Interested buyers can watch for official online store listings to check availability in their local markets.
