GeForce NOW Annual Memberships Drop in Summer Sale

NVIDIA has kicked off its GeForce NOW summer sale, offering major discounts on its annual cloud gaming memberships. For a limited time, gamers can save up to $70 on 12-month plans, making it cheaper to stream PC games without buying expensive hardware. The promotion drops the yearly price of the Performance tier to $64.99 and the Ultimate tier to $129.99.

The Performance membership, which usually costs $99.99, is discounted by $35. This tier offers cloud gaming streams at up to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second (fps) with access to basic RTX servers. For enthusiasts, the Ultimate tier is discounted by $70 from its regular $199.99 price. Ultimate members get access to servers running NVIDIA RTX 4080- or 5080-class graphics, supporting resolutions up to 4K at 120 fps, along with features like ray tracing and DLSS. This sale comes as the company continues to update its cloud hardware, similar to how it updates its physical lineups like the RTX 5070 laptop graphics cards.

The cloud gaming platform has also expanded its device support by adding official apps for Linux and Amazon Fire TV. This allows players to stream their PC library on almost any screen without worrying about local storage space or system updates. NVIDIA is also adding new games to the service this week, including Hero Games’ Duet Night Abyss, a cooperative deep-sea action title where players control two characters tethered by oxygen lines.
