Gigabyte Releases “MO32U24” 32-Inch 4K 240Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor

Gigabyte has introduced the MO32U24, a 32-inch gaming monitor that pairs 4K resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate on a QD-OLED panel. Very few displays combine this level of detail with such a high refresh rate, making it a rare option for players who want both sharp visuals and smooth motion on the same screen.

The panel runs at 3840 × 2160 with a 0.03ms response time, keeping fast scenes clear with minimal blur, matching trends in high-end panels such as the Philips Evnia 32M2N8900X, keeping fast scenes clear with minimal blur. It supports 10-bit color and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space, giving it strong color depth for games, films, and creative work.

Peak HDR brightness reaches around 1000 nits, and the display carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. Motion clarity is backed by VESA ClearMR 13000, which focuses on reducing visible blur during fast movement. The panel also delivers a contrast ratio around 1.5 million to one and wide 178-degree viewing angles, so image quality stays consistent from different positions.

Gigabyte adds an Advanced Obsidian Shield layer on top of the screen. This coating deepens perceived black levels by up to 40% and improves surface durability. It also helps keep contrast strong in brighter rooms, where OLED panels can sometimes lose depth. The surface hardness is rated higher than earlier coatings, which helps reduce scratches during everyday use.

Thermal design focuses on silence. The monitor relies on a fanless cooling layout with a graphene thermal film and a custom heatsink structure. This keeps noise at zero while helping control heat during long sessions. Stable temperatures are important for OLED panels, especially for maintaining consistent performance over time and reducing long-term wear.

Gigabyte includes AI OLED Care to help protect the panel during daily use. It runs in the background and adjusts behavior to limit uneven pixel wear and reduce image retention. The monitor also carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free viewing, helping reduce eye fatigue. A three-year warranty is included, with coverage for panel burn-in, which is still not guaranteed across all OLED displays in this segment.

For gaming, the MO32U24 supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is also compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync, helping keep motion smooth without tearing, features supported in GPUs covered in NVIDIA RTX 5050 GPU. Several built-in tools are included for competitive play.

Tactical Switch 2.0 allows quick switching between screen sizes or aspect ratios, Ultra Clear helps reduce motion blur, and Black Equalizer improves visibility in darker scenes. Additional features such as custom crosshairs, timers, and picture-in-picture modes are available through the on-screen menu.

HDR performance is further enhanced with HyperNits tuning. This feature boosts brightness in HDR content while keeping highlights under control, with multiple modes for different lighting conditions. For standard content, an AI-based picture mode adjusts image settings in real time depending on what is on screen, helping maintain balanced output without manual changes.

Connectivity includes two full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 18W power delivery. A USB hub with upstream and downstream ports is included, along with a headphone jack. Dual 5W speakers are built in, which is still uncommon in this class where many monitors rely on external audio.

The stand supports height adjustment up to 130 mm along with tilt, swivel, and pivot, allowing flexible positioning for different desk setups. The overall design keeps a clean, dark look with a slim base and minimal branding, making it suitable for both gaming and work environments.

Compared to OLED gaming monitors from brands like LG UltraGear and Philips Evnia, the MO32U24 stands out by combining 4K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, silent cooling, and burn-in warranty coverage in one package. Many competing models offer similar panels, but fewer bring all of these elements together at once.

Gigabyte has not announced pricing yet. The MO32U24 is expected to reach global markets soon, with retail availability likely to follow shortly after launch.
