GMKtec EVO-T2S Packs Core Ultra X7, Arc B390, 10GbE, 180 TOPS AI

GMKtec’s new EVO-T2S is a Panther Lake-powered mini PC built for AI and workstation users, combining Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H with Arc B390 graphics and dual high-speed Ethernet inside a compact chassis, joining a growing wave of next-generation AI-focused compact desktops.

It comes with Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H, a 16-core chip from the Core Ultra Series 3 family, Intel’s latest mobile platform for high-performance compact systems with four performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and four low-power efficiency cores. Boost clocks reach up to 4.8GHz on the performance cores, and users can switch between 35W silent, 45W balanced, and 54W performance presets, while peak power reaches 60W.

Graphics come from Intel’s Arc B390 integrated GPU with 12 Xe cores, ray tracing support, and speeds up to 2.5GHz, placing it among Intel’s most advanced integrated graphics solutions to date. GMKtec rates the platform for up to 180 TOPS of AI performance, including 122 TOPS from the GPU and 50 TOPS from the integrated NPU.

The EVO-T2S includes 64GB of onboard LPDDR5X-8533 memory and comes with either a standard 1TB PCIe SSD or a Phison aiDAPTIV+ SSD with 853GB capacity. For expansion, buyers get dual M.2 2280 slots, including one PCIe 5.0 x4 slot and one PCIe 4.0 x1 slot, offering next-generation storage support for demanding workloads, with support for up to 8TB per slot.

GMKtec markets the EVO-T2S for local AI inference and workstation workloads, including large language model deployment. Connectivity includes dual USB4 ports with 100W power delivery input, matching modern high-bandwidth connectivity standards seen in premium compact PCs, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and OCuLink for external GPU or dock support. It can drive up to four displays with resolutions up to 8K.

Networking includes one 10Gb Ethernet port, one 2.5Gb Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4, giving the EVO-T2S stronger networking options than most consumer mini PCs in the same category.

Cooling comes from a vapor chamber paired with dual fans. The chassis measures 154 × 151 × 73.6 mm and weighs about 5.07 lbs (2.3 kg). Software support includes Windows 11 Pro, Ubuntu, and other Linux-based operating systems.

The GMKtec EVO-T2S starts at $1,899 for the 64GB RAM and 1TB SSD version, down from an earlier listed price of $2,399. A version with the Phison AI SSD is also available.
