HKC has introduced the 27Q500B, a 26.5-inch gaming monitor that takes OLED technology into new territory with a 500Hz refresh rate. This is a major step beyond most current OLED displays, which usually top out at 240Hz or 360Hz. By pushing OLED to this level, HKC is focusing on one thing above all—speed.
The panel gives you up to 2560×1440 resolution, which remains the preferred setup for high-refresh gaming, like Xiaomi Redmi G25 2026 gaming monitor. Instead of chasing higher pixel counts, this monitor is built around smoother motion and faster response, making it a strong fit for competitive titles where clarity and timing matter more than resolution.
What makes this monitor different is how OLED performance combines with 500Hz. OLED panels already deliver near-instant pixel transitions, and HKC lists a 0.03ms response time. With such a high refresh rate, movement appears sharper and more consistent, reducing blur and ghosting in fast scenes. For esports players, this kind of clarity can make a noticeable difference during gameplay.
HDR performance reaches up to 1000 nits. While some Mini LED monitors push higher brightness levels, OLED offers deeper contrast with true blacks, with alternative approaches covered in TCL CSOT 640Hz dual-mode panel. This gives scenes more depth, especially in darker environments where details are easier to pick out. The panel also supports native 10-bit color, covering 99% of the DCI-P3 and 98% of the AdobeRGB color range, making it useful for both gaming and creative work.
HKC includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1, two USB-A 3.2 ports with KVM support, a USB-C port with 90W power delivery, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. This setup allows multiple devices to stay connected at once, with easy switching between them.
The stand supports height adjustment, tilt, and rotation, and the monitor also supports VESA 100×100 mounting. This keeps it flexible for different setups, whether placed directly on a desk or mounted on an arm.

Most high-refresh monitors reach extreme speeds by relying on TN panels, which often sacrifice color and contrast. OLED displays, on the other hand, deliver better image quality but usually stop at lower refresh rates. The 27Q500B brings both together, offering OLED-level visuals with a refresh rate that matches or exceeds many esports-focused displays.
At 1440p, it does not aim for 4K-level detail. Instead, it focuses on delivering smoother gameplay and faster response, which is exactly what competitive players look for.
The HKC 27Q500B is priced at 4999 yuan and will go on sale in China starting May 6. There is no confirmation yet on availability in other regions.
With this release, HKC pushes OLED beyond its current limits, delivering a monitor that combines high-end image quality with one of the fastest refresh rates available today.
