HP Teases HyperX Shadow Elf 2026 Gaming Laptops Ahead of April 20 Launch

HP is preparing a new Shadow Elf gaming lineup under its HyperX branding, with three models set to launch on April 20. The range includes the Shadow Elf Pro 15, Pro 16, and the higher-end Max 16.

The Pro 15 and Pro 16 had already appeared in earlier teasers. The latest update brings the Max 16 into focus, completing the full lineup ahead of launch.

The Shadow Elf Pro 16 is positioned as a high-power gaming system, with total system power rated above 200W. It targets users who need sustained performance for demanding workloads and modern AAA titles.

It has thermal management system through HP’s Cool Storm Pro+ system, designed to manage higher thermal loads under extended use. The laptops will also feature updated tuning controls through OGH Master Mode, along with OMEN AI-based performance adjustments, as we have seen in HP’s OMEN gaming CPUs.

HP is introducing a new set of AI-backed features across the lineup, aimed at improving system behavior based on usage patterns. The company has not shared detailed functionality yet, and the current teasers remain focused on the overall platform direction rather than full specifications.
