HP arrived at Computex 2026 with a broad lineup of AI-focused hardware that spans consumer laptops, compact desktops, developer systems, and enterprise workstations. The announcement includes upcoming RTX Spark-powered OmniBook laptops, a new OmniDesk Mini desktop, secure AI systems under the ZGX brand, and updated workstation platforms built around AMD and NVIDIA technologies.
RTX Spark Is Coming to HP’s OmniBook Lineup
Two of HP’s upcoming consumer laptops, the OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14, will receive NVIDIA RTX Spark hardware later this year. HP says RTX Spark combines NVIDIA’s full AI software stack with RTX technologies in a platform aimed at creators, gamers, and developers working with local AI applications.
HP is also claiming the systems will be the world’s thinnest RTX Spark notebooks. The company has not disclosed detailed specifications, GPU configurations, memory options, or pricing yet, with additional information expected closer to launch.

HP Is Also Planning a Compact RTX Spark Desktop
The RTX Spark rollout will not be limited to notebooks. HP confirmed plans for a compact desktop built around the same platform, giving creators, AI enthusiasts, and developers another option for local AI workloads. Hardware specifications remain under wraps for now.

OmniDesk Mini Brings AI Features to a Smaller Desktop
HP also introduced the OmniDesk Mini Desktop PC, which the company describes as the world’s first Mini AI PC with Thunderbolt Share. The system uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and is designed for users who want desktop performance without the footprint of a traditional tower.
Thunderbolt Share allows two PCs to be controlled with a single keyboard and mouse while also supporting fast file transfers between systems. HP says the OmniDesk Mini includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports and support for up to four 4K displays. Availability is currently scheduled for August 2026.

ZGX Nano Focuses on Secure Local AI Processing
HP is also introducing a new ZGX Nano configuration aimed at environments where security requirements are stricter than typical desktop deployments. The system combines hardware and software protections designed to reduce attack surfaces by restricting wireless access and external interfaces.
According to HP, the platform follows Zero Trust principles and is intended for classified, remote, and regulated environments where local AI processing must remain secure and isolated.

Windows Support Is Coming to HP’s GB300 AI Systems
HP also confirmed plans to bring Windows support to its deskside and rack-mounted systems powered by NVIDIA’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip. The company says the change will allow organizations to run always-on AI agents while integrating them directly into existing Windows applications and workflows.
The move is particularly relevant for enterprise customers, as HP notes that more than 70% of enterprise PCs currently run Windows.
HP Z2 Mini G1a Gets AMD’s AI Developer Stack
Developers are also getting a new option through the HP Z2 Mini G1a. HP plans to pair the workstation with AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 series processors and AMD’s Ryzen AI Halo developer software stack.
The system will include the Ryzen AI Developer Center, AMD ROCm support, pre-installed AI frameworks, AI models, and guided deployment playbooks. HP says these additions are intended to reduce setup time for developers building and testing local AI workloads. The workstation is expected to reach select retail channels later this year.
