Lenovo has added the new Legion 5 15IAX11 to its PSREF database, revealing a refreshed 15-inch gaming laptop built around Intel’s Arrow Lake HX processors and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50-series laptop GPUs.
Even though it is not part of the Legion Pro lineup, the laptop still includes features such as a 165Hz OLED panel, RTX 5070 graphics, and PCIe 5.0 storage support.
Lenovo is using a 15.3-inch WQXGA OLED panel with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and up to 1000 nits HDR peak brightness. The panel also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC, Advanced Optimus, and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification.
Unlike many gaming laptops in this segment that still rely on IPS displays, the Legion 5 moves to OLED while keeping a relatively slim chassis measuring 0.75 to 0.79 inches thick. Weight starts at 4.25 lbs (1.93 kg).
Processor options include the Intel Core 7 245HX, Core Ultra 7 251HX, and Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus. Higher-end models pair those chips with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU featuring 12GB of GDDR7 memory and a 115W TGP. RTX 5060 variants are also available. Lenovo lists support for DLSS 4 and DirectX 12 Ultimate across the RTX 50-series configurations.
The system uses Intel’s HM870 chipset and includes Lenovo’s LA1 AI chip alongside Intel AI Boost support. Depending on the processor configuration, the integrated NPU delivers up to 13 TOPS while total platform AI performance reaches up to 36 TOPS.
Memory support reaches up to 32GB DDR5-5600 through two SODIMM slots. Storage support includes dual M.2 slots, though Lenovo is using a mixed configuration with one PCIe 5.0 x4 slot and one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot instead of dual Gen5 connections. Lenovo officially supports up to 2TB M.2 2242 SSDs.

Battery capacity is rated at 80Wh, paired with a 245W adapter. Lenovo claims the system can recharge to 50% in around 30 minutes using Rapid Charge Pro. The company also lists up to 12.5 hours of local 1080p video playback under internal testing conditions.
It comers with ports and connectivity such as Thunderbolt 4, USB-C with DisplayPort 2.1 and 100W USB PD support, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and three USB-A ports. The laptop can drive up to four displays simultaneously, including external 8K monitors over HDMI or USB-C.
Other hardware details include a 5MP webcam with electronic shutter support, Harman-tuned stereo speakers with Nahimic Audio processing, and optional 24-zone RGB keyboard lighting on selected models. Lenovo is also offering both Eclipse Black and Glacier White color variants.
The Legion 5 15IAX11 appeared in Lenovo’s PSREF database on May 15, 2026, with regional listings covering the US, Canada, Europe, and several Asian markets. Pricing has not been confirmed yet.
