Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 11 Packs With 115W RTX 5060 and Ryzen 7 250

Lenovo releases LOQ 15 Gen 11 globally with Ryzen 7 250 processors, RTX 50-series laptop graphics, higher GPU power limits, and a redesigned 16:10 display aimed at mainstream gaming and creator workloads. Availability is now expanding across North America, Europe, and Australia with several regional configurations.

The new LOQ 15AHP11 runs on AMD’s Ryzen 7 250 processor, an 8-core, 16-thread Zen 5 chip reaching boost speeds up to 5.1 GHz, part of the expanding AMD Ryzen AI 400 series lineup. Lenovo pairs the processor with GeForce RTX 5050 or RTX 5060 laptop GPUs, both carrying 8GB GDDR7 memory. GPU power climbs to 115W this generation, up from 100W on the previous LOQ 15 model.

Lenovo lists boost clocks up to 2662MHz for the RTX 5050 configuration and up to 2497MHz for the RTX 5060 version. Nvidia DLSS 4, Reflex 2, ray tracing, and Advanced Optimus support are included across the lineup alongside DLSS 4.5 improvements.

One of the biggest upgrades is the move from a 16:9 panel to a taller 16:10 display. The laptop now features a 15.3-inch screen instead of the older 15.6-inch format. Base configurations include a 1920 × 1200 IPS display with 165Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, anti-glare coating, and full 100% sRGB color coverage, matching current trends in gaming laptops. Higher-end versions step up to a 2560 × 1600 IPS panel with 180Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness, Nvidia G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync, and X-Rite factory calibration.

Full sRGB coverage is now available across the lineup, improving color accuracy compared to earlier LOQ generations that often shipped with lower-gamut panels in entry configurations.

Cooling receives a major redesign this generation with technologies increasingly appearing in MSI Titan 18 Max designs. Lenovo equips the laptop with Hyperchamber Cooling, redesigned Falcon fans, sealed airflow channels, and 3D copper heat pipes. Lenovo says the updated cooling layout lowers surface temperatures and fan noise during gaming workloads.

The chassis also becomes thinner and lighter compared to many older budget gaming laptops. Lenovo lists dimensions at 344.9 × 254.83 × 20.9–23.25 mm with a starting weight of 4.63 lbs (2.1 kg). The laptop ships in a Luna Grey finish with a cleaner design closer to modern gaming notebooks than older bulky entry-level designs.

Memory support reaches up to 32GB DDR5-5600 through dual SO-DIMM slots, while storage scales up to 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSD capacity. Lenovo also includes dual SSD slots for future storage expansion.

The laptop keeps the same 60Wh battery as the previous generation. Lenovo claims up to 8.5 hours in MobileMark 30 testing and up to 13.9 hours of local 1080p video playback depending on workload and brightness conditions. Rapid Charge Pro support allows the battery to recharge from 0% to 50% in around 30 minutes.

Lenovo replaces the older USB 3.2 Type-C implementation with USB4 offering 40Gbps bandwidth, DisplayPort 1.4 output, and 65W to 100W USB-C charging support. The laptop also includes HDMI 2.1 supporting up to 8K at 60Hz, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB-A 5Gbps ports, one USB-A 10Gbps port, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. Lenovo additionally supports a proprietary 140W charging mode with compatible Lenovo adapters.

Several premium features previously reserved for higher-end Lenovo gaming laptops also move into the LOQ lineup following updates across devices such as the Lenovo Legion 7A Gen 11. Lenovo includes a 5MP IR camera with privacy E-shutter and Windows Hello support, Nahimic audio tuning, stereo 2W speakers, MIL-SPEC durability testing, and the Lenovo TrueStrike keyboard with optional 24-zone RGB lighting. Key travel reaches 1.6 mm, giving deeper keyboard feedback than many thinner gaming laptops currently available.

The Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 11 starts at $1,599.99 in the US for RTX 5050 configurations. Canadian pricing starts at CAD 2,089, while Australian pricing starts at AUD 2,339. European pricing begins around €1,589 and £1,369 depending on region and hardware configuration. RTX 5060 versions cost more depending on memory and storage options. Availability is already live across multiple regions.
