Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i Gen 11 Releases Globally with Tandem OLED

Lenovo is taking a clear step forward with its creator-focused lineup as the Yoga Pro 9i Gen 11 arrives globally. This 16-inch laptop brings together a brighter Tandem OLED display, newer RTX 50-series graphics, and a refined design that keeps performance high without adding bulk.

The Yoga Pro 9i Gen 11 is light enough to carry every day at around 1.90kg / 4.19lbs, yet powerful enough to handle serious creative work. That balance is what makes this model stand out—it delivers strong performance without forcing users into thicker, heavier designs.

Performance is a noticeable upgrade this generation. The laptop runs on Intel’s latest Core Ultra H-series processors, reaching up to the Core Ultra 9 386H, part of the lineup covered in Intel Core Ultra 200S Plus desktop CPUs. These chips bring faster multi-core speeds and better efficiency for demanding tasks.

This laptop Paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series graphics, including RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 options, the laptop can handle editing, rendering, and complex visual work with ease. With higher power available for the GPU, performance stays consistent even during longer sessions.

The display is one of the biggest highlights, following advances in OLED panels highlighted by LG 39GX950B. Lenovo offers a 3.2K Tandem OLED panel that reaches up to 1000 nits in HDR. Colors are rich and accurate, with full coverage of DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, making it a strong choice for creators who rely on precise color. The 120Hz refresh rate keeps motion smooth, whether you are editing video timelines or working on animation. There is also a 2.8K OLED option, but the Tandem OLED panel clearly delivers the best experience.

Lenovo has also focused on making everyday creative work easier. The Force Pad works with the Yoga Pen Gen 2 to turn the trackpad into a drawing surface. This allows quick sketches, edits, and adjustments without needing a separate tablet. For many users, this small feature can make a big difference in daily workflows.

Cooling has been improved to support sustained performance, a focus seen in high-power systems such as MSI Titan 18 Max. The updated X Power design includes dual fans, multiple heat pipes, and improved airflow. This helps the laptop stay stable during longer editing or rendering tasks instead of slowing down under load. At the same time, it keeps noise levels controlled, which matters when working in quiet spaces.

AI features are becoming more useful in daily work, and this laptop brings them into practical use. As part of the Copilot+ PC category, it includes tools that can speed up common tasks such as searching files, organizing content, rewriting text, and enhancing media, a direction discussed in HP OmniBook Ultra 14. In real use, this can mean faster background removal in photos, smoother video enhancements, and quicker transcription for audio work, all running directly on the device.

Memory and storage are built to support demanding projects. Configurations go up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM, allowing multiple heavy applications and large files to run at the same time without slowdown. Storage starts at 1TB, giving enough space for large media libraries and ongoing projects.

The laptop includes Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A ports, and an SD card reader, making it easy to connect cameras, drives, and external displays. Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, keeping it ready for faster networks and modern accessories.

Battery capacity is around 92Wh, supporting long work sessions depending on usage. Combined with improved efficiency from the latest processor, it offers a better balance between power and battery life compared to earlier versions.

In Europe, it starts at around €2,300, while higher configurations can go beyond €3,000. In the US, higher-end versions reach around $2,799, depending on hardware choices.

The Yoga Pro 9i Gen 11 brings together strong graphics, a standout display, and a thinner design that fits modern creative work. It may not replace full mobile workstations, but for many creators, it delivers the power they need in a much more portable form.
