MSI has launched the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG, a 0.51-liter mini PC powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with up to 100 TOPS of AI performance, joining a growing number of compact AI-focused desktop systems.
The mini PC is configurable with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 386H, while additional options include Core Ultra 7 355 and Core Ultra 5 322, expanding MSI’s lineup of Core Ultra-powered compact desktops. MSI says the integrated Intel AI Boost NPU delivers more than 50 TOPS, with total platform AI performance reaching 100 TOPS.
Memory support includes dual DDR5 SO-DIMM slots with up to 128GB capacity, alongside a factory-installed M.2 2280 PCIe SSD slot, matching storage flexibility seen in recent workstation-class mini PCs. MSI also uses a tool-free chassis design for easier upgrades and maintenance.
For connectivity, the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports and two HDMI 2.1 outputs, supporting up to four 4K displays for multi-monitor workstation setups. One Thunderbolt 4 port also supports up to 98W power delivery input.
Networking features include dual 2.5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4/6 depending on wireless module configuration.
MSI equips the mini PC with a fingerprint-enabled power button, dTPM support, Kensington lock compatibility, and MSI Power Link, which allows supported MSI monitors to control system power. The company also includes a cable organizer for cleaner cable management.
Cooling comes from MSI’s Frozr AI PRO thermal system, designed to improve airflow and reduce temperatures during sustained workloads, similar to thermal solutions used in newer high-performance mini PCs. MSI also says the chassis incorporates post-consumer recycled plastics and FSC-certified packaging materials.
The Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG measures 119.6 × 115.2 × 37.5 mm, weighs 1.21 lbs (0.55 kg), and supports VESA mounting.
MSI has not announced pricing or availability.
