MSI listed the MAG 346CQDF E20 with a 34-inch curved Rapid VA panel running at 3440 × 1440 resolution and 200Hz refresh rate, alongside a secondary 400Hz dual-mode setting for competitive gaming. The ultrawide display targets players who want a larger 21:9 gaming setup without moving into the much higher pricing territory attached to OLED esports monitors.
The monitor switches between two display modes depending on the game being played. Standard ultrawide mode runs at 3440 × 1440 and 200Hz, while Dual Mode lowers the resolution to 1720 × 720 and pushes refresh rate up to 400Hz for faster motion clarity in shooters, racing games, and esports titles.
MSI places a dedicated one-click Dual Mode button directly on the display together with a 5-way joystick navigator for faster profile switching and menu control.
The panel carries a 1500R curve together with a 0.5ms gray-to-gray response time and Adaptive-Sync support for smoother gameplay across variable frame rates.
Color performance stays relatively strong for the price category. MSI lists 95% DCI-P3 coverage, 85% Adobe RGB coverage, and 120% sRGB coverage together with support for 1.07 billion colors through 8-bit + FRC processing.
The monitor features anti-glare surface treatment and HDR Ready support with rated SDR brightness reaching 300 nits.
MSI adds several gaming-focused software features through AI Navigator, including AI Vision, AI Crosshair, AI Dual Mode controls, and Super Low Motion Blur Sync.
Console compatibility covers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S through MSI’s Console Mode support.
Connectivity includes one DisplayPort 1.4a connection, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a headphone-out jack. DisplayPort supports the full 3440 × 1440 resolution at 200Hz together with the lower-resolution 400Hz mode, while HDMI remains limited to 3440 × 1440 at 100Hz.
The monitor supports PIP/PBP multitasking functions but skips KVM support.
MSI offers the display with an internal power board, VESA mounting compatibility, and a tilt-adjustable stand. The monitor weighs around 14.04 lbs (6.37 kg) with the stand attached.
