Philips Evnia is launching a new line of gaming displays called the M4 series that uses triple-mode refresh rate technology. The lineup includes the 27M4N3500PT and 27M4N5500PT models, which let players switch between three distinct resolution and refresh rate presets. This design aims to provide maximum versatility for both immersive graphics-heavy games and high-speed competitive titles.

The core of the new displays is a Fast IPS panel that lets users toggle between three modes depending on their current game genre. The QHD (2560×1440) mode runs at an overclocked 275Hz with HDR enabled to showcase high-fidelity AAA game graphics. For balanced gameplay, the Full HD (1920×1080) mode runs at 360Hz, while the HD (1280×720) mode unlocks a 540Hz overclocked refresh rate for competitive players.
Players can switch between these three settings instantly using the on-screen menu without adjusting complex operating system parameters. The panel has a peak brightness of 350 nits and includes anti-glare screen treatments to maintain visibility. To help with gameplay, the firmware includes AI-enhanced features like shadow boosting, smart crosshairs, and motion blur reduction.

The high-end 27M4N5500PT model comes with an ergonomic stand that supports height, tilt, swivel, and 90-degree vertical pivot adjustments. The back of the chassis includes ambient lighting that projects colors onto your desk setup during play sessions. To reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions, the monitors include low blue light and flicker-free technologies.
For inputs, both monitors include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity ports to connect to modern graphics cards. Philips Evnia plans to officially release these triple-mode monitors in the Asia-Pacific region first before expanding to other markets. Interested buyers can watch the manufacturer’s website for regional release dates and local retail pricing details.
