SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 9050 joins AMD’s RDNA 4 graphics lineup with a compact 200mm dual-slot design, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, and a typical board power of 100W. The card is intended for 1080p gaming and fits Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX desktop builds where space is limited.
AMD’s Navi 44 GPU sits at the centre of the card with 16 Compute Units, 1,024 stream processors, 16 third-generation Ray Accelerators, and second-generation AI Accelerators. SAPPHIRE lists a Game Clock of up to 2,260MHz and a Boost Clock of up to 2,760MHz.
Memory consists of 8GB of GDDR6 running at 18Gbps across a 128-bit interface. The GPU keeps the full 32MB Infinity Cache found on Navi 44, helping reduce traffic between the GPU and external memory during graphics workloads.
The cooler features two AeroCurve fans, composite heatpipes, an Integrated Cooling Module, and Honeywell PTM7950 phase-change thermal material. A six-layer High TG Copper PCB, seven-phase digital power design, metal backplate, dual ball-bearing fans, and fuse protection are part of the board layout.
AMD software support covers FSR 4 with AI upscaling, HYPR-RX, Fluid Motion Frames 2, Radeon Anti-Lag 2, FreeSync, DirectX 12 Ultimate, and the Adrenalin Edition application. TriXX and TriXX Boost are available for additional tuning and image scaling.
Display output consists of two HDMI 2.1b ports and one DisplayPort 2.1a connector. Up to three displays can be connected, with a maximum listed resolution of 7680 × 4320.

The graphics card measures 200 × 109.25 × 40.6mm and occupies two expansion slots. Power comes through a single 8-pin PCIe connector, while the PCIe 5.0 x16 interface connects the card to the motherboard. Typical board power is rated at 100W. SAPPHIRE recommends a 650W power supply together with at least 8GB of memory, while 16GB is listed as the preferred capacity.
SAPPHIRE has not published pricing or a retail date. The PULSE Radeon RX 9050 will reach selected SAPPHIRE e-tailers and retail partners at a later date.
