Sharkoon Launches FIREGLIDER One 50g Ultralight Gaming Mouse

Sharkoon is bringing back its Fireglider lineup with a fresh direction. The new FIREGLIDER One is an ultralight gaming mouse that focuses on what matters most right now: low weight, quick response, and flexible connectivity. Announced on April 27, the 50g mouse is built for players who want speed and precision without the extra bulk.

Ultralight wireless mice are quickly becoming the norm, especially for competitive players seeking less fatigue and faster reaction times during long sessions, as seen with the Attack Shark X11 Ultra. The FIREGLIDER One fits right into that space, with a PixArt PAW3311 sensor, up to 12,000 DPI, a 1000Hz polling rate, dual-mode connectivity, and battery life rated at up to 100 hours.

The Fireglider series goes back to around 2009, so it has been in the gaming mouse space for over 17 years. This new version drops the old flame-heavy design and goes for a much cleaner, simpler look that fits better with modern esports setups and minimalist desks.

The mouse uses a right-handed, quasi-symmetrical shape that supports multiple grip styles, including claw and fingertip. It measures around 127.5 × 64 × 40 mm and weighs just 50 grams, putting it firmly in the ultralight category where even small weight differences can noticeably affect control and comfort.

At just 50g, it’s lighter than most ultralight gaming mice, which typically weigh 55g to 70g. That lighter feel can really help with faster movements and make long gaming sessions more comfortable.

Sharkoon is going for a balance between performance and durability here. The PixArt PAW3311 sensor is a familiar option in this space and is known more for consistent tracking than flashy specs. It’s paired with Huano switches rated for 20 million clicks, along with a 1000 Hz polling rate to keep input lag low, similar to the Pulsar ZywOo Gen 2.

It supports both wired USB and Bluetooth modes, allowing it to switch between low-latency gaming and more flexible everyday use. Battery life is rated at up to 100 hours, which puts it comfortably in line with other wireless gaming mice in the same category.

Sharkoon has kept the design simple this time. The matte black finish and minimal branding move away from the usual flashy, RGB-heavy look and instead go for something more practical and clean. It’s the kind of design that fits just as well on a work desk as it does in a gaming setup.

Bringing back the Fireglider name also comes at a time when competition is pretty intense, with products like the Redragon Taipan Pro. Brands like Logitech, Razer, and Glorious are all pushing lighter designs and better wireless performance, so it’s getting harder for new mice to stand out just on specs alone.

Sharkoon hasn’t shared pricing yet, but going by the specs, the FIREGLIDER One will likely sit in the mid-range segment. That could make it a good pick for anyone who wants an ultralight wireless gaming mouse without spending flagship-level money.

This launch shows a clear trend in hardware. Older products are being updated with useful, modern features, just like the Razer Viper V4 Pro.

The FIREGLIDER One proves that even long-running series can change based on what people actually need today, better performance, simple design, and no unnecessary extras.
