Thermaltake Launches CAPO X Dual-Build Full-Tower Case

The new Thermaltake CAPO X dual-build full-tower chassis has launched officially in black and white color options. Splitting the full-tower case allows users to install two completely separate microATX computing setups inside a single enclosure. The Thermaltake CAPO X has a price of 1,270 Yuan (about $187 USD) and is currently preparing to ship to early buyers.

Designing a two-in-one desktop enclosure helps enthusiasts run a gaming PC alongside a dedicated streaming PC without cluttering their desk space. Buyers can also use the configuration to run an AI inference configuration next to a primary workstation setup. Selecting this specialized case allows users to combine two separate power buttons and layouts under a single glass panel.

The interior of the case is split into two separate motherboard areas to keep the hardware configurations isolated. The dual compartments are built to house standard microATX motherboards as well as hidden-connector designs like ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth. Each compartment has five expansion slots, graphics card clearance up to 420 mm, and CPU cooler clearance up to 180 mm.

The case uses a curved 4 mm tempered glass panel covering both builds.

In addition to ample hardware clearance, both compartments support standard ATX power supplies up to 250 mm in length. Each section also includes dedicated 2.5-inch storage drive mounts and a 360 mm radiator bracket to support independent liquid cooling setups.

The front input and output ports operate independently for each built computer. The top compartment has its connection ports near the top-left, while the bottom compartment ports sit near the front-bottom of the case. Each port panel includes one USB Type-C 10 Gbps port, two USB Type-A 5 Gbps ports, and standard audio headers.

The case is made from 1 mm SPCC steel, measures 691 x 305 x 448 mm, and uses a single 4 mm curved tempered glass side panel to show off both builds. Thermaltake intends this specialized full-tower chassis for custom builders who want to consolidate their workstations. The product is expected to arrive in global retail markets later this quarter.
