Beelink Launches Affordable ME Pro NAS With 68TB Storage Support

Beelink has launched a new affordable two-bay configuration of its ME Pro NAS in China, starting at CNY 999 (about $147 USD / 1,150 Hong Kong Dollars). The launch marks another expansion for Beelink, which has traditionally focused on compact desktop hardware. Attentive buyers can find the new network storage model listed on JD.com.

The new variant has a mainboard that includes the Intel Pentium Silver J5005, which is a low-power quad-core processor. The Gemini Lake configuration targets users who want a cost-effective NAS platform for home media or backup servers. Users can pair the processor with up to 16GB of DDR4 memory.

The modular design supports dual M.2 SSDs and dual SATA drives.

The compact network storage enclosure holds up to four drives across different connection types. Specifically, the board has two M.2 slots, and each slot supports up to a 4TB SSD (about 4,000 Gigabytes). In addition, two SATA slots can each hold up to a 30TB drive (about 30,000 Gigabytes) for large-scale file backups.

This combination allows the storage device to support a maximum capacity of 68TB (about 68,000 Gigabytes). The ME Pro has a modular layout that lets users swap out the mainboard for other Intel or AMD hardware options in the future.

The NAS uses a one-piece metal chassis that reduces its overall volume by 50% compared to traditional two-bay mechanical disk enclosures. For comparison, the all-flash Ugreen DH2300 retails for $199.99 USD (about 1,400 Yuan / 1,550 Hong Kong Dollars) on Amazon. Despite the small footprint, the hardware includes two 2.5G LAN ports for high-speed network connections.

For external peripherals, the device has two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. The barebone option is available now, and a pre-configured version with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB operating system drive retails for CNY 1,499 (about $221 USD / 1,720 Hong Kong Dollars).
