ASRock Industrial Partners With Axelera AI for Edge AI Platforms

ASRock Industrial has announced a strategic partnership with Axelera AI to bring Metis AIPU accelerator cards to its edge AI platforms. The collaboration aims to deliver scalable AI inference processing for industrial and enterprise edge computing environments. The partnership integrates Axelera Metis M.2 and PCIe acceleration cards into various computer models to offer up to 214 TOPS of extra performance. Because the AIPU hardware operates with high power efficiency, it lowers the total cost of ownership compared to conventional GPU architectures. This setup allows organizations to run advanced AI workloads directly where data is generated while minimizing the overall hardware footprint.
