ASUS has introduced the new ExpertBook B3 G2 in two configurations: the 14-inch ASUS ExpertBook B3 G2 (B3405CAA) and the 16-inch ASUS ExpertBook B3 G2 (B3605CAA).
Both models are built around Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 processors and are aimed squarely at enterprise deployments requiring AI acceleration, high memory capacity, and firmware-level security protection.
The two versions share the same platform foundation. Buyers can configure the systems with up to Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processors, paired with an integrated neural processing unit delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. That level of on-device AI compute aligns the laptops with Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC requirements, enabling features such as real-time transcription, AI-assisted document summarization, intelligent video conferencing enhancements, and other local inference tasks without depending entirely on cloud processing.
ASUS is pushing memory capacity well beyond what is common in standard corporate notebooks. Both the B3405CAA and B3605CAA support up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and dual-SSD storage configurations totaling up to 6TB. For comparison, Lenovo’s ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 typically supports up to 64GB of memory, while Dell’s Latitude 7450 class systems also target lower memory ceilings in mainstream configurations. By extending to 96GB, ASUS positions the B3 G2 closer to workstation-class flexibility within a business laptop chassis.
ASUS previously expanded its enterprise lineup with the ExpertBook B5 G2 series, including the Panther Lake–powered models that focused on balanced performance and durability. The B3 G2 builds on that foundation with next-generation Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and significantly higher memory ceilings.
Display configurations differ primarily by size. The B3405CAA features a 14-inch panel, while the B3605CAA expands to 16 inches for users who prefer a larger workspace. Options go up to 2.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, which is unusual in enterprise laptops that commonly ship with 60Hz panels. The 14-inch model can also be configured with touch support.
The chassis of the 14-inch version starts at 3.2 lbs (1.45 kg), maintaining competitiveness with other premium business systems such as the ThinkPad T14 and Latitude 7000-series.
Video conferencing remains a priority. ASUS includes up to a 5MP IR camera with Windows Hello support, along with AI noise-canceling audio tuned for hybrid work environments. A 180-degree lay-flat hinge supports collaborative desk setups in office and classroom scenarios.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, a forward-looking addition as many enterprise systems currently ship with Wi-Fi 6E. For organizations planning multi-year device lifecycles, Wi-Fi 7 may extend infrastructure relevance as networking upgrades expand. The laptops also include TPM 2.0 hardware protection and ASUS ExpertGuardian security features.
Firmware resilience is another focus area. The ExpertBook B3 G2 complies with NIST SP 800-193 guidelines and integrates dual-ROM BIOS recovery, designed to protect against firmware-level attacks and enable rapid system restoration. This level of protection is increasingly relevant for enterprise IT departments managing distributed workforces and large device fleets.

Both models meet MIL-STD-810H durability standards after passing 24 military-grade reliability tests. That certification targets use cases beyond standard office environments, including field operations and travel-heavy roles.
The release reflects a broader shift in enterprise laptop expectations. AI capability, high memory ceilings, long-term firmware protection, and scalable storage are becoming standard evaluation criteria for IT procurement teams. With up to 50 TOPS of AI performance and support for 96GB of RAM, the ExpertBook B3 G2 moves beyond incremental yearly refresh updates and instead targets long deployment cycles where expandability and security matter as much as raw CPU speed.
Pricing and regional availability have not yet been disclosed. Based on configuration limits and enterprise security positioning, the ASUS ExpertBook B3 G2 (B3405CAA and B3605CAA) is clearly intended to compete directly with premium Lenovo ThinkPad T-series and Dell Latitude 7000-class business laptops rather than entry-level corporate models.
