Bigme has launched a new 25.3-inch color E Ink monitor called the B251 PRO that aims to achieve a high refresh rate of up to 60 frames per second. The manufacturer is promoting the display as the first in its size class to reach this refresh speed target. However, other companies like Dasung and Onyx Boox already offer color screens of this size with lower frame rates.

The B251 PRO uses a Kaleido 3 color electronic paper panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. The display outputs 4096 colors and 16 levels of grayscale, with a pixel density of 145 pixels per inch. In addition to the color panel, the monitor includes adjustable cold and warm front lighting to reduce eye strain in low-light environments.

Office professionals often pair these niche displays with their main computers to reduce eye strain, which is a common issue when working for hours on the best ssd laptops. The specialized screen helps writers and programmers work comfortably under direct sunlight or indoor lighting. However, the color saturation on this panel remains much lower than standard office monitors.
The monitor has HDMI and DisplayPort inputs to connect to host computers, alongside a USB-C port that is reserved for firmware updates only. Bigme is shipping the product with a dedicated remote control to adjust display profiles quickly. The included ergonomic stand supports tilt and swivel adjustments to help users set comfortable viewing angles.
The Bigme B251 PRO color monitor is currently available on the official web store at a promo price of $1,279 USD. The regular retail price for the display is set at $1,599 USD. Buyers can place orders directly on the website to receive free international shipping.
