Gigabyte has listed two new 16-inch gaming laptops on its global website, the GAMING A16 GA6EH and EAGLE GL6J. Both models use 165Hz displays with taller 16:10 panels, but the hardware setup changes quite a bit between the two systems.
The GAMING A16 GA6EH targets higher-end gaming and creator use with Intel Core Ultra processors and RTX 5070 graphics, while the EAGLE GL6J moves toward lower-cost gaming configurations based on AMD Ryzen hardware.
GAMING A16 GA6EH Uses Core Ultra 9 and RTX 5070 Graphics
The GAMING A16 GA6EH comes with Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor options together with GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 Laptop GPU configurations depending on the model.
Gigabyte is offering the laptop with two display versions, including a WQXGA (2560 × 1600) panel and a lower-resolution WUXGA (1920 × 1200) option. Both displays run at 165Hz and use a 16:10 aspect ratio.

The higher-end WQXGA panel reaches 500 nits brightness and covers 100% of the sRGB color space, giving the laptop a sharper and more color-accurate display than many standard 1200p gaming systems.
Memory support goes up to 64GB DDR5-5600, while storage uses dual PCIe Gen4 M.2 SSD slots.
Cooling is handled through Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE thermal setup with dual-fan airflow and rear ventilation. The laptop also includes a MUX switch, Dolby Atmos audio, RGB keyboard lighting, and AI-based tuning features listed on the official product page.
A 76Wh battery is built into the chassis, and the system weighs around 4.85 lbs (2.2 kg).

EAGLE GL6J Uses Ryzen 5 and RTX 4050 Graphics
The EAGLE GL6J uses an AMD Ryzen 5 7533HS processor paired with GeForce RTX 4050 and RTX 3050 Laptop GPU options depending on configuration.
Its 16-inch display uses a WUXGA (1920 × 1200) resolution with the same 165Hz refresh rate and 16:10 layout. Brightness is rated at 400 nits with full sRGB coverage.
The laptop supports up to 64GB DDR5-4800 memory together with dual PCIe Gen4 SSD slots.

Blue accents across the lid give the EAGLE GL6J a different look from some of Gigabyte’s larger gaming laptops, while the overall design stays cleaner and less aggressive.
Gigabyte is again using its WINDFORCE cooling setup with dual-fan airflow and rear ventilation. The laptop also includes an HD IR camera and a smaller 61Wh battery.
Both laptops use taller 16:10 displays, giving slightly more vertical screen space than older 16:9 gaming panels. That extra room can help while gaming, browsing, editing documents, or keeping multiple windows open.
Gigabyte has not confirmed regional pricing or release timing yet, though both laptops are now listed on the company’s official global website.
