JGINYUE has announced its latest Mini-ITX motherboard, the B850I SNOW DREAM WIFI, as part of its Snow Dream series. Designed for AMD’s AM5 platform, the compact motherboard combines PCIe 5.0 support, DDR5 memory compatibility, and an unusual built-in OCuLink interface that is rarely found on desktop DIY motherboards.
The motherboard supports AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors and is powered by the AMD B850 chipset. It features an 8+2+1 phase DrMOS power design and supports dual-channel DDR5 memory with speeds reaching DDR5-8000+ through overclocking. According to JGINYUE, the board can accommodate up to 96GB of memory across two DIMM slots.
The B850I SNOW DREAM WIFI includes a full PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for graphics cards and three M.2 storage slots. One PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slot is located on the front side of the board, while two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots are positioned on the rear. Users also get two SATA III ports for additional storage devices.
This release joins other recent AM5 boards, like the Colorful iGame B850M Ultra V14, in offering high-speed memory support.
The standout feature of the B850I SNOW DREAM WIFI is its rear-mounted OCuLink interface. Unlike most desktop motherboards, which rely solely on PCIe expansion slots, JGINYUE integrates an OCuLink connector directly into the rear I/O panel.

The OCuLink port is connected through a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface from the chipset. This allows users to connect compatible external graphics solutions, storage devices, or expansion systems without occupying the motherboard’s primary PCIe x16 slot.
OCuLink has become increasingly popular among mini PCs and handheld gaming devices because it provides a direct PCIe connection over a cable with significantly higher bandwidth than traditional USB-based external expansion solutions.

The motherboard features a Realtek 2.5GbE LAN controller alongside a MediaTek MT7902 Wi-Fi module with external antenna support.
The rear I/O panel includes:
- 1× OCuLink port
- 1× HDMI port
- 1× DisplayPort
- 1× USB Type-C port
- 3× USB 3.2 ports
- 4× USB 2.0 ports
- 1× 2.5GbE RJ45 LAN port
- Wi-Fi antenna connectors
- S/PDIF optical audio output
- Audio jacks
The motherboard also provides a front-panel Type-E connector for additional USB Type-C connectivity and includes dual 5V ARGB headers with an independent MCU controller for lighting customization.
JGINYUE has not yet announced pricing or availability for the B850I SNOW DREAM WIFI. However, the combination of PCIe 5.0 support, triple M.2 slots, 2.5GbE networking, and an integrated OCuLink connector makes it one of the more unusual Mini-ITX AM5 motherboards announced so far.
