Lenovo’s Legion R9000P is the first commercial laptop with TCL CSOT’s inkjet-printed OLED display. The 16-inch gaming notebook pairs a 240Hz refresh rate with a Real RGB Stripe pixel layout and more than 99% DCI-P3 color coverage. It marks the first retail notebook built around TCL CSOT’s printed OLED panel after years of development.
The display has a 2560 × 1600 resolution and a taller 16:10 aspect ratio. The extra screen height leaves more room for editing software, documents, web browsing, and game interfaces. TCL CSOT states that color accuracy remains consistent across different brightness levels.
The 240Hz refresh rate keeps motion smooth during competitive games. More than 99% DCI-P3 color coverage delivers richer colors for photo editing, video production, streaming, and entertainment.
The panel features a Real RGB Stripe layout with red, green, and blue subpixels placed side by side. That arrangement produces sharper text and cleaner interface elements while reducing the color fringing seen on some OLED displays. Reading, coding, and office work benefit just as much as gaming.

TCL CSOT follows a different production process for this panel. Instead of relying on vacuum thermal evaporation and fine metal masks, the company prints the organic materials directly onto the display. The process cuts material waste, lowers production costs, and keeps OLED’s deep blacks, high contrast, and vivid colors.
The company has worked on this display for more than ten years. Its Gen 5.5 production line entered mass production in late 2024, followed by construction of the world’s first Gen 8.6 production line. The Legion R9000P is the first notebook customers can purchase with this panel.
Lenovo sells the laptop with AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX and Ryzen 9 9955HX processors. Graphics options range from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU to the RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. Memory goes up to 32GB of DDR5, while storage reaches 2TB through a PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The notebook features Lenovo’s second-generation QianKun Pro cooling design. Lenovo rates it for up to 215W of combined CPU and GPU power and states that the updated cooler moves more air while reducing fan noise compared with the previous generation.
