Mechrevo Releases MZF25F400 Monitor With 420Hz, 24.5-Inch Fast IPS Panel

Mechrevo lists the MZF25F400 on JD.com as a 24.5-inch esports monitor with a 420Hz refresh rate, priced at 1399 yuan in china. It targets players who want faster motion clarity without stepping up to the much higher cost of 500Hz displays.

The panel runs at 1920 × 1080 and is built on Fast IPS technology, a configuration used in AOC 25G51F. It delivers a 1ms gray-to-gray response time, 450 nits peak brightness, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Color coverage reaches 99% of the sRGB gamut and 93% of DCI-P3, keeping images consistent for both games and everyday use.

At 420Hz, this model sits between widely used 360Hz monitors and the newer 500Hz class, with higher-end panels explored in AUO 800Hz gaming monitor. The higher refresh rate reduces motion persistence further, making fast-moving targets easier to track during quick flicks and rapid camera movement. Running at 1080p also helps maintain higher frame rates, which remains a priority in competitive titles.

Fast IPS panels offer a balance between speed and image stability, a direction followed in ASRock 27-inch 180Hz QHD IPS monitor. Compared to older TN panels, colors remain more consistent and viewing angles stay wider, which improves usability outside of pure esports scenarios.

Ports include two HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The layout covers standard desktop and console setups, though there is no USB hub or USB-C connection.

The stand supports tilt adjustment, and VESA 100 × 100 mounting is available for users who prefer monitor arms. This keeps the design simple while allowing flexible placement on different desks.

In the current market, most 360Hz monitors sit below this level, while 500Hz models carry a much higher price, as reflected in Ant Esports ANT275ZQE OLED gaming monitor. The MZF25F400 falls between those two segments, offering a higher refresh rate than mainstream esports displays without moving into premium pricing.

The Mechrevo MZF25F400 is now available in China through JD.com at 1399 yuan.
