MSI has introduced its 2026 gaming laptop lineup with a major jump in power and display upgrades. The new Raider models reach up to 300W combined CPU and GPU power, paired with Intel Core Ultra 200HX Plus processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series laptop GPUs.
The update covers multiple segments, from high-end 16-inch and 18-inch systems to entry-level models with improved power limits and cooling.
Raider 16 Max and Raider 16
Raider 16 Max leads the lineup with up to 300W combined power, placing it among the highest-performance 16-inch laptops available.
The cooling system uses three fans, six heat pipes, and a five-exhaust layout. MSI has also redesigned the internal layout to fit larger fans, helping reduce noise while maintaining airflow. Fan noise is tuned to stay below 50 dBA during gaming workloads.
Display options include a 16-inch 2560 × 1600 OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and full DCI-P3 coverage. Higher configurations include RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 laptop GPUs paired with Core Ultra 9 processors, as also seen in the MSI Titan 18 Max 2026 RTX 5080 260W.
Rear I/O remains in place for cleaner cable routing, and a quick-access panel allows easier upgrades for memory and storage.
Crosshair 16 Max and Crosshair 16
Crosshair models move into a thinner 21.9 mm chassis while still pushing up to 200W combined power.
Performance is rated around 17.6% higher than the previous generation. Cooling uses dual fans, five heat pipes, and a four-exhaust layout to maintain sustained performance.
Display options include 2560 × 1600 OLED panels with up to 165Hz refresh rate. Configurations range across Core Ultra processors with RTX 5070-class GPUs, including early references to a 12GB variant.
Ports are split across sides and rear, with HDMI and LAN moved to the back for better cable management.

Titan 18, Raider 18 Max, and Stealth 18
MSI continues its 18-inch lineup with Titan 18 at the top, followed by Raider 18 Max and Stealth 18.
Titan 18 includes a 4K (3840 × 2400) Mini LED panel at 240Hz, with peak brightness around 1000 nits and high contrast levels. It pairs Core Ultra 200HX Plus processors with RTX 5090 graphics.
Across this segment, CPU power delivery can reach up to 220W. Raider 18 Max offers similar GPU options with alternative display configurations, while Stealth 18 focuses on a slimmer chassis with high-end GPUs like RTX 5080.

Cyborg 15 Series
The Cyborg 15 lineup sees one of the biggest changes. The new Cyborg 15 Max reaches up to 100W GPU power and 130W total system power.
MSI reports up to a 122% increase in TGP compared to the previous generation, supported by updated cooling with dual fans and heat pipes.
Displays remain 1080p at 144Hz with full sRGB coverage. Some models now include rear I/O, which is still uncommon in entry-level gaming laptops.
Weight stays around 2 kg, keeping it relatively portable for its class.

What Changes Across the 2026 Lineup
Several upgrades apply across the lineup:
- Intel Core Ultra 200HX Plus platform
- NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs
- Higher combined power limits (up to 300W)
- Wider OLED and Mini LED adoption
- Improved cooling and lower noise levels
- Rear I/O across more models
Availability
MSI has not confirmed final retail pricing for most models at the time of announcement. Availability is expected to vary by region depending on configuration.
