Ugreen NASync DXP4800 GT Packs Dual 10GbE, Ryzen CPU and 144TB Storage

The latest Ugreen NASync series comes with the DXP4800 GT, a four-bay NAS built around AMD Ryzen hardware, dual 10GbE networking, ECC memory, and support for up to 144TB of storage. The new model is aimed at users who regularly work with large files, maintain extensive media libraries, run home servers, or manage growing collections of business data.

Dual 10GbE networking is one of the standout upgrades. Ugreen equips the NAS with two 10Gb Ethernet ports, allowing far higher transfer speeds than traditional gigabit NAS devices. With link aggregation enabled, bandwidth can reach up to 20Gbps on supported network equipment.

For creators and professionals, faster networking can save considerable time. Large video projects, RAW photo collections, virtual machine images, and backup archives can move between devices much more quickly than on standard home networks.

The DXP4800 GT features four SATA drive bays and two M.2 NVMe SSD slots. When fully populated, total storage capacity reaches up to 144TB. That provides enough room for years of footage, project files, backups, surveillance recordings, and personal archives.

Ugreen has added U.2 SSD compatibility to the first two drive bays. This gives users another storage option when building performance-focused NAS configurations.

AMD’s Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor powers the device. The four-core, eight-thread chip boosts up to 3.7GHz and provides enough processing power for media streaming, Docker containers, virtual machines, file synchronization, and multiple users accessing data at the same time.

The NAS ships with 8GB of DDR4 ECC memory. Users can expand capacity up to 64GB depending on workload requirements.

ECC memory helps identify and correct memory errors before they affect stored files. For users storing business documents, client projects, family photos, and long-term backups, this added protection can be valuable over time.

The front panel is designed for quick file transfers. Ugreen places a 10Gbps USB-C port, a 10Gbps USB-A port, and an SD card reader directly on the front of the enclosure.

This arrangement allows photographers and videographers to copy files from cameras and memory cards without connecting additional accessories. Portable SSDs and external drives can be connected just as easily.

Around the back, the NAS provides another 10Gbps USB-A port, two USB ports, HDMI output, and the dual 10GbE network connections.

The NAS runs UGOS Pro. The platform supports remote access, shared folders, scheduled backups, Docker containers, virtual machines, and self-hosted applications.

Users can create their own private cloud storage, media server, backup server, or home lab without depending entirely on third-party cloud subscriptions.

Photo management tools are built into the software. Images can be organized by people, locations, and objects, while duplicate-file detection helps recover storage space occupied by repeated files.

Security features support multiple RAID configurations, encrypted transfers, user permissions, and virus scanning tools.

The enclosure adopts a black finish with gold accents. Ugreen states that the styling draws inspiration from Grand Touring vehicles, which is reflected in the GT branding.

The diskless NASync DXP4800 GT carries a retail price of $659.99. Ugreen is currently offering a promotional discount that lowers the price to $525.99 when buyers apply the “DXP4800GT” coupon code during checkout.

With dual 10GbE networking, Ryzen processing, ECC memory, U.2 SSD support, and storage capacity reaching up to 144TB, the NASync DXP4800 GT arrives as a strong option for creators, professionals, home server enthusiasts, and small businesses looking for faster network storage without stepping into enterprise hardware.
