Razer has announced the Atlas Pro, billed as the world’s thinnest glass gaming mouse mat at just 1.9 mm thick. The lower profile brings the surface closer to the desk than most glass pads, which typically exceed 3 mm.
The mat pairs a 1.1 mm tempered glass layer with a full rubber base, keeping it stable without adding height. The reduced thickness lowers the step between desk and pad, which can ease wrist strain during long sessions.
A 2 µm micro-etched finish is tuned for optical sensors, keeping tracking consistent across both quick flicks and fine adjustments used in high-end gaming mice. The glass surface delivers low-friction glide, a key trait for fast-paced FPS play with modern wireless peripherals.
Durability remains intact. The surface carries a 9H hardness rating on the Mohs scale, resisting scratches from everyday items such as keys and coins. The coating also makes it easy to wipe away fingerprints and dust.
At 500 × 400 mm, the Atlas Pro offers more room than many standard mouse mats, supporting wide, low-sensitivity movements preferred in competitive setups. CNC-rounded edges and a full anti-slip base keep it steady during use.

Compared with the original Atlas from 2023, the Pro model cuts thickness by more than half, aligning with recent trends in thinner performance-focused gaming gear. With most competing glass mats still above 3 mm, the Atlas Pro brings a noticeably thinner design to the category.
The Razer Atlas Pro is available now. Pricing is set at $129.99 in the US, £129.99 in the UK, and €139.99 in Europe.
