SourceNext DIGI+ Creates a Triple-Screen Laptop Setup

SourceNext’s DIGI+ is now available in Japan as a dual-display accessory for compatible 13-inch to 16-inch laptops. The attachment adds two 14.1-inch screens to the back of a notebook, creating a three-display workspace without replacing the computer. The product is priced at $247 after completing a successful Makuake crowdfunding campaign.

DIGI+ attaches through an adjustable frame that fits behind the laptop display. When work is finished, both side panels fold flat against the notebook, allowing everything to be carried together instead of packing separate portable monitors and stands. The design keeps the overall setup compact while remaining easy to transport between different workplaces.

Each side panel measures 14.1 inches and features an IPS display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080. Together with the notebook’s built-in screen, the accessory creates three displays that remain connected as a single unit.

A rear support stand opens up to 180 degrees and supports much of the attachment’s weight instead of placing additional pressure on the notebook hinges. This design helps keep the setup stable while all three displays are open.

The hinge design allows both displays to move independently. The left panel rotates up to 330 degrees, while the right panel rotates up to 270 degrees. One of the side screens can be turned toward another person during meetings, presentations, or discussions without moving the entire notebook.

For connectivity, DIGI+ provides two USB Type-C ports for power and video, along with a Mini HDMI connector for compatible devices. No permanent modification to the notebook is required during installation.

When folded, the accessory measures 383 × 219 × 36 mm and weighs approximately 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg). Combined with a notebook, the total carrying weight can reach around 3 to 4 kg, depending on the computer being used. The product carries the model number DGP-DMD1401.

The crowdfunding campaign collected more than ¥13 million before retail sales began. DIGI+ is currently available through SourceNext’s online store in Japan, while the company has not announced sales through retailers in the United States, Europe, or other international markets.
