Tianma Showcases 27-Inch QHD 610Hz Gaming Monitor Panel at Computex 2026

Tianma is pushing gaming monitor refresh rates even higher with a new 27-inch QHD panel capable of reaching 610Hz. Demonstrated at Computex 2026, the display combines a 2560×1440 resolution with one of the highest refresh rates announced for a gaming monitor panel to date.

What makes the panel particularly interesting is that Tianma is not sacrificing resolution to reach the 610Hz mark. Many ultra-high-refresh displays are designed around Full HD panels, but this display retains the sharper QHD resolution that has become increasingly popular among PC gamers.

The panel is built on Tianma’s self-developed Oxide TFT backplane technology. According to the company, this technology plays a key role in delivering both the extremely high refresh rate and the visual performance expected from a modern gaming display.

This optimized the panel’s pixel-driving architecture and optical film structure to reduce image ghosting. The company states that the display maintains high color accuracy while improving motion performance, two areas that often become more difficult to balance as refresh rates continue to climb.

The combination of 610Hz operation, QHD resolution, reduced ghosting, and strong color performance makes the panel one of the most technically ambitious displays shown by the company at this year’s event. While commercial gaming monitors have only recently started moving into the 500Hz range, Tianma is already demonstrating what comes next.

Additional Notebook Displays Debut at Computex

Beyond gaming monitors, Tianma displayed a 14-inch notebook panel featuring a 2880×1800 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, touchscreen functionality, and active stylus support. The display is intended for premium notebooks where touch interaction and higher refresh rates are becoming increasingly common.

Another notebook display shown at the event features a 16-inch panel with a wide variable refresh-rate range from 1Hz to 120Hz. The broader range can help balance smooth visuals with power efficiency depending on workload requirements.

Industrial Display Designed for Harsh Environments

Tianma’s showcase extended beyond consumer devices. The company demonstrated a 17.3-inch Full HD display developed for industrial control equipment, navigation terminals, and other demanding environments.

The panel supports brightness up to 1000 nits and is designed to operate across temperatures ranging from -30°C to 80°C. Those specifications make it suitable for installations where conventional displays may struggle to maintain reliability.

Tianma has not announced pricing, commercial availability, or monitor partners for the 27-inch QHD 610Hz gaming panel. For now, the display stands as one of the fastest monitor technologies showcased at Computex 2026 and a clear demonstration of how aggressively panel manufacturers continue pushing refresh-rate performance.
