AAEON MIX-Q870A1 is a Mini-ITX motherboard for Intel Core Ultra 200S processors with support for up to 36 TOPS of AI computing. The board accepts LGA1851 processors up to 65W and combines Intel’s integrated NPU with Xe LPG graphics for local AI workloads.
The board runs on Intel’s Q870 chipset and accepts up to 96GB of dual-channel DDR5-6400 memory through two SO-DIMM slots. Intel Core Ultra 200S processor options give builders a choice of different CPU models while keeping the same motherboard platform.
A PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot sits at the centre of the board. A jumper changes the lane layout between x16, x8/x8, and x8/x4/x4. That leaves room for graphics cards, NVMe SSDs, network adapters, frame grabbers, and fieldbus interface cards in a single Mini-ITX build.
The storage layout offers several choices. There is one M.2 2280 M-Key slot with PCIe x4 for NVMe SSDs, one M.2 2242 M-Key slot for SATA drives, two SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID 0 and RAID 1, and one M.2 2230 E-Key slot that accepts a Wi-Fi module or an additional NVMe device.
Four independent displays can run from two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs. Rear connectivity consists of eight USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one Intel I219-LM Gigabit Ethernet port, and one Intel I226-V 2.5GbE port. The specification sheet lists ten USB 3.2 Gen 2 connections in total, with two available through the internal USB header.
Internal connectors add an 8-bit programmable digital I/O header, a USB header for two extra USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a 40-pin LVDS/eDP connector for embedded displays. TPM 2.0, Wake-on-LAN, PXE boot, Smart Fan Control, and a watchdog timer are part of the motherboard specification.
AAEON lists support for OpenVINO, WindowsML, DirectML, and ONNX Runtime. Operating system compatibility covers Windows 10, Windows 11, and Ubuntu 24.04.

The motherboard measures 170 × 170 mm and operates in temperatures from 0°C to 60°C. Power comes through a standard ATX connector. The specification sheet lists CE and FCC Class A certification together with Intel UHD Graphics and Realtek ALC897 audio.
