GMKtec EVO-X3 AI Workstation Now Available Globally Starting at $3,600

GMKtec has officially released the EVO-X3 AI Workstation worldwide, with prices starting at $3,600. The compact desktop is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and comes with 128GB of unified memory, up to 4TB of PCIe SSD storage, and OCuLink support for connecting external GeForce RTX 40- and RTX 50-series graphics cards.

The EVO-X3 is now available through GMKtec’s official online store, and customers who joined the reservation program can use their launch coupons at checkout.

The desktop is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which combines Zen CPU cores, Radeon graphics, and AMD’s XDNA AI engine on a single chip. GMKtec rates the processor at up to 126 TOPS of AI performance. It is built for users who want to run large language models, create AI images and videos, write code, and process data directly on their own PC instead of relying on cloud services.

Memory goes up to 128GB, with the processor and graphics sharing the same memory pool. This gives AI models and creative software access to more available memory without moving data between separate memory areas. It can be useful when working with larger projects or running multiple applications at the same time.

GMKtec will offer two configurations at launch. Both come with 128GB of unified memory. Buyers can choose either a 2TB PCIe SSD or a 4TB PCIe SSD, giving enough space for AI models, virtual machines, project files, and large datasets.

The EVO-X3 comes with USB4, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, and Windows 11 Pro. USB4 allows fast external storage connections, while 2.5GbE and Wi-Fi 7 provide faster wired and wireless networking for large file transfers and remote work.

The EVO-X3 also includes an OCuLink (PCIe Gen4 x4) port for connecting an external graphics card. GMKtec says it supports GeForce RTX 40-series and RTX 50-series GPUs, giving users an easy way to add more graphics power when needed. The company also says the OCuLink connection delivers performance close to a built-in graphics card.

GMKtec says the EVO-X3 can run large language models (LLMs) with up to 235 billion parameters. It comes with 128GB of unified memory and Windows 11 Pro as standard. Buyers can choose between a 2TB or 4TB PCIe SSD, with both models using the same 128GB memory configuration.
