HP Launches ZBook X 16 G2ig With Panther Lake and RTX 5060

HP’s ZBook X 16 G2ig is now available in China. Every model pairs an Intel Panther Lake processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop graphics, making dedicated GPU performance standard across the lineup instead of limiting it to higher-priced versions.

Three processor options are available: Intel Core Ultra 5 336H, Core Ultra 7 356H, and Core Ultra 9 386H. The graphics hardware stays the same across all models, so the processor is the main difference when choosing a configuration.

Up front is a 16-inch IPS screen with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. HP rates the panel at 400 nits of brightness and full DCI-P3 color coverage, making it suitable for design work, photo editing, and video production.

Memory can be expanded to 128GB of DDR5, although current retail models ship with up to 32GB installed. That leaves plenty of room for users working with large datasets, virtual machines, CAD software, AI workloads, and complex creative projects.

A 96Wh battery powers the workstation, with fast charging capable of reaching 50% in around 30 minutes. Heat is managed by a dual-fan cooling design during heavier workloads.
