Gigabyte MO32U24 4K QD-OLED Monitor Now Available

Gigabyte’s MO32U24 gaming monitor is now available through retail channels, giving buyers another option in the growing 32-inch 4K OLED gaming market. The monitor pairs a 240Hz QD-OLED panel with several upgrades aimed at improving everyday use, including a new screen coating, stronger burn-in protection, and software features that automatically adjust picture settings.

The MO32U24 features a 31.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a 3840 × 2160 resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms Gray-to-Gray response time. It carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and ClearMR 13000 certifications, delivering deep black levels, sharp motion, and high contrast for fast-paced games and HDR content.

One of the biggest changes is Gigabyte’s new Advanced ObsidianShield film. OLED displays often struggle with reflections and reduced black levels in bright rooms, and Gigabyte says the new coating improves perceived black levels by up to 40% while maintaining accurate colors. The display surface has been upgraded from a 2H to a 3H hardness rating, providing up to 2.5 times greater scratch resistance during daily use.

The display is suitable for more than gaming. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supports 10-bit color, and can display around 1.07 billion colors. Those specifications make it a good choice for photo editing, video production, digital art, and other creative work where color accuracy is important.

Gigabyte has added several image enhancement features to improve both HDR and SDR content. HyperNits increases HDR brightness by up to 30% in Peak 1000 mode while preserving bright highlights. AI Picture Mode automatically adjusts picture settings based on the application currently running, allowing users to switch between games, movies, and desktop work without constantly changing display profiles.

The gaming feature list goes beyond the high refresh rate. Tactical Switch 2.0 lets users change screen size and aspect ratio with a single button. Ultra Clear technology reduces motion blur using intelligent black-frame insertion, while AI Black Equalizer improves visibility in darker scenes without over-brightening the rest of the image. Night Vision, customizable crosshairs, timers, Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture, and multiple HDR presets are available as well.

The monitor is certified as NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible to help reduce screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay. Gigabyte has also added OLED VRR Anti-Flicker technology, which adjusts the variable refresh rate range to reduce flickering that can occur in certain gaming situations.

OLED burn-in remains a concern for many buyers, and Gigabyte has added several features to reduce that risk. The MO32U24 combines a fanless cooling design with a custom heatsink, four-sided heat dissipation, and graphene thermal film to keep panel temperatures under control. AI OLED Care performs background maintenance to help reduce image retention, and Gigabyte backs the monitor with a three-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in.

For everyday comfort, the display carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certifications. The stand supports height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments, while VESA mount compatibility allows installation on monitor arms or wall mounts.

Connectivity covers modern gaming and productivity setups with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 input, and USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode and 18W Power Delivery. The monitor also features USB ports, a headphone jack, and dual 5W speakers, making it easy to connect gaming PCs, laptops, and current-generation consoles.

Gigabyte has confirmed that the MO32U24 is now available through retail partners, although pricing varies by region. Rather than relying only on a fast OLED panel, the company has focused on improving everyday ownership with better screen protection, burn-in reduction, and image enhancements, giving buyers another premium option in the growing 4K 240Hz QD-OLED monitor market.
